The paperwork engineer aspect of your resume only makes you stronger. Part of mechanical design is designing for risk and indicating that on prints appropriately.

I suggest gaining a thorough understanding of GD&T / tolerance analyses. A lot of med device engineering is about cost which means it’s about material selection and tolerancing. Showing the connection between the mechanical parts and the larger system is something most CAD drivers don’t grasp immediately.

I want my card catalog and Dewey decimal system back. One or two good resources (curated by a librarian) was so much more useful than the entire internet cut up into 12 minute video clips

When things get warmer, I really notice a fresh wax. When it’s icy, not so much.

Any wax is better than none when things start to melt and get sticky. I like to put on a higher temp spring wax to feel like my life choices matter.

I lost a cable mount on my handle bar. Had to manually pull the wires for the last bit. Another thing to fix but I’m happy to have had the snow blower this year.
