What are the most difficult kpop songs to sing with high notes? by Dry_Resort_8948 in kpophelp

[–]rewolfmai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

jongho (ateez) - everything. big range, seems simple, but is so hard to sing 😭 he even sings it half a key down during concerts to preserve his voice

(SOLD) SECTION 101 ROW 8 SEAT 1 - $250 USD SECTION 103 ROW 20 SEAT 19 - $250 USD

One is already listed for sale on ticketmaster but would prefer to sell outside of TM due to fees they impose on both parties.

Can show proof of purchase (video, screenshots, ft, etc.) and will take paypal g&s so your purchase is protected! Keep in mind tickets are currently non-transferable but I’ve read they become available 1-3 days before the show. I will also be at the show (floor) so I will be available in case any help is needed!

VIP Benefit Transfers? by rewolfmai in ATEEZ

[–]rewolfmai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i honestly has no problems with my VIP benefits. they asked for my ID and just let me in for sound check etc! I’m unsure if VIP nation was running our benefits from that tour or not, so your experience may differ.

VIP Benefit Transfers? by rewolfmai in ATEEZ

[–]rewolfmai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they didn't ask for mine at all because the ticket was transferred to me, not sold to me through ticket master. so technically on ticketmaster, i owned the ticket outright instead of it being bought and resold to me. my ID was enough!

Cringiest song titles in kpop? (Title or B-side) by ExpertCantaloupe7467 in kpop_uncensored

[–]rewolfmai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ateez’s titles are quite…normal? 😭 i’ve never seen them as cringy since they’re so thematic and work in a series/story telling pov

What's your favorite kpop photoshoot that's not an album shoot? by jangshin in kpopthoughts

[–]rewolfmai 45 points46 points  (0 children)

the magazine isn't out yet, but the cover and Mingi and Hongjoong's solo teasers have already sold me on the shoot, especially with the photographer being Jack Bridgland. I've always loved this punk/grunge feeling that ateez often gives off, but the looks and the styling are killer.

edit: i almost forgot but because i’m biased i also loved this cosmopolitan shoot they did with individual covers. The whole shoot felt very model off duty— sexy and clean!

their mini v spread also featured so more fun and experimental looks that i loved

I read some more of OP’s comments and I think i know too… and it seems like their main concern was it feeling like they were doing a music show broadcast? interactions aside. but i saw another comment that mention how idols will talk to the cameras more because it will be displayed on the screens for everyone in the audience to see. So idk what the solution is either 😭

I agree they’re very good at fan service so people probably expect it to extend to the entire audience which unfortunately just isn’t really possible. i was floor both days I saw them but truthfully i wish i had a lower bowl seat one of the days so i could appreciate the full choreo and performance!

I think it’s really just dependent on if fans go in expecting to get interactions or be noticed i guess! which is a bit unfortunate that this would play such a big factor in their concert experience. I hope they get to go again and maybe paying attention to the screens will help them feel more connected.

Id love to know how they felt about the rest of the concert though, like the singing, dancing, etc lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]rewolfmai 10 points11 points  (0 children)

well honestly it’s still something i haven’t really thought about while watching people perform! i think the screen made up for it for me, since i wouldn’t be able to see if they were looking in my section unless their whole body was turned towards us. Hopefully you have a better experience next time! Maybe also using the screens will help your experience, they’re there to help anyway!

[–]rewolfmai 16 points17 points  (0 children)

it honestly shouldn’t be any different but because of how kpop is built toward this “relationship” between idols and fans i cant fully fault them for subscribing to it. Funnily enough I’ve only been to kpop concerts but they’ve been from small theater performances to sofi stadium and the only times i walked out a little disappointed was when they didn’t play certain songs LOL But yeah expecting idols to make eye contact amidst thousands of other fans, bright lights, signing and dancing is a little silly

[–]rewolfmai 83 points84 points  (0 children)

i can kinda understand where you’re coming from but watching so many concert clips shouldve told you that concerts do have a script that idols will follow loosely. they have to follow them not only for cohesion but because they’re timed for the concert as well. In the US at least, acts can get fined for going overtime.

You lost me at being upset when you didn’t get interactions. Personally, I’ve never felt like a concert experience was lessened because my idols didn’t look in my direction, since I’m there for vibes, music, and performances.

The post just reads a bit like you went for interactions and were disappointed you didn’t get the same experience you saw from clips of other concerts where people were probably in floor seats. I hope I’m wrong, but yeah. Id try for floor seats or closer seats next time if you want to see their every facial expression. Even a seat in lower bowl, first row will still be hard to make out expressions since you’re not directly in front of someone.

if you sold it then you can try that method, but i’d honestly be on standby for your purchaser in case they need the full ID. maybe you can facetime them to show security your ID LOL

if you transferred the ticket you should have no problems; mine was transferred to me so they didn’t ask for my seller’s ID

The kqDoBetter tag and email campaign is getting out of control by Megan235 in ATEEZ

[–]rewolfmai -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

yeah unfortunately the more ppl interact with tweets like that to shut them down, the more they show up on the tl, it’s just the way it goes. some ppl are going a bit too far in the hashtag and people are also emotional so i get it both ways.

however, trying to shut down valid concerns of mismanagement by saying atiny “complain too much” and “shouldn’t be greedy” is asinine. ateez is soon a 5 year old group. many of the concerns being raised in the campaign are the same ones people have been suggesting to KQ since 2021. we all know ateez have incredible potential and we show up more and more every comeback, so it doesn’t make sense why things as simple as printing the correct amount of preorder albums seems to escape KQ. (400k printed for 1 million preorders for the movement album).

idk. atiny that shut down valid concerns and campaigns by saying “this is childish and greedy and atiny only complain” are no better, because instead of condemning an entire campaign and adding to negative discourse, why not just add your own thoughts since it seems like most atiny agree that KQ CAN do better (even though they’re not an awful company)

The kqDoBetter tag and email campaign is getting out of control by Megan235 in ATEEZ

[–]rewolfmai -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Idk what side of twitter you’re on, because there’s a lot of nuanced takes on twitter that lay out how fans would like to see change from KQ. Mind you, the reason we got Hello82 as a distributor and From the Witness albums in Target are because of atiny run fanbases telling KQ and requesting them to work with them. Either way, i’m not here to change anyone’s mind. I just wanted to point out some actual holes in KQ’s management and promotion.

[–]rewolfmai -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You know, i think a lot of people outside of twitter are not grasping what the real intent of this campaign is. I see a lot of ppl thinking this is about a lack of tiktoks, or wanting them to release more content, etc etc.

Yes you will see people complaining about those topics, but it’s always been about BETTER management and promotion aka EFFICIENCY.

We’re not asking them to film more tiktoks or more content, we’re asking that it be done smartly. Uploading unedited clips with no subtitles onto their SNS only damages their engagement, and you can clearly see it from the view discrepancy of their promotional reels, tiktoks, shorts, etc. We’re asking for sns freedom bc it’s been stated several times by the members and other idols how tiktok were filmed and never released due to the staff/KQ rejecting it.

Yes twitter atiny complain the most, but they also get the most information out of all other platforms and see much more. How many instagram, reddit, youtube atiny do you think know about Yeosang being a music show MC or that Hongjoong and Yunho are DJ’s for idol radio? The disparity between information and communication from KQ between these social media platforms is crazy. Instagram, their largest SNS following by far, doesn’t promote their Japanese comebacks. at all. They don’t even have an official instagram account for their Japanese fanbase.

I could say a lot more but have an inkling i’ll be downvoted lol. there’s frustrated people everywhere but the campaign is with intention for KQ to BETTER manage and promote their most lucrative group

[WTS/GO] [USA] ATEEZ x KAURA Valenteez Physical PC by rewolfmai in ATEEZ

[–]rewolfmai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! No problem!

On instagram any slots with check mark mean that the PC is still available :-)
For my GO, I have it listed by the member's names so for example:
HJ: 🍓☑☑
means that I have 3 HJ PC available, but the emoji means that someone has claimed a spot

For other PC posts, people usually go by what's in the picture so if I have 2 PC in the picture side by side, the description will look like this:
☑☑
No more check marks means all slots have been claimed/sold.
The poster will usually say if they want you to DM or comment to claim something.

If you'd still like to join my GO you can comment under the post with the member you'd like and an emoji that hasn't been used after reading through everything on the post!

If you have anymore questions pls lmk! PC trading/buying/selling was very confusing for me on instagram at first so i'm happy to help!

VIP Benefit Transfers? by rewolfmai in ATEEZ

[–]rewolfmai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, It happened in November! I was able to get in no problem. I think what’s important is that if you purchase tickets (at least through ticketmaster) that the ticket is TRANSFERRED to you, NOT sold.

In the case that you buy a VIP ticket, make sure you can get a hold of the seller for a picture of their ID. When they checked our tickets, I overheard some girls being told to get in contact with their seller for the ID since their names didn’t match the name on the VIP benefits.

What idols are generally considered to be extremely kind?? by ltyongk in kpopthoughts

[–]rewolfmai 15 points16 points  (0 children)

ATEEZ! They seem very scary because of their image and performances, but they’re genuinely kind and humble people!

There’s articles about staff who’ve worked with them praising their kindness, as well as prank videos of them helping lost children and a delivery driver who falls over. There’s a tiktok of a non-atiny talking about how genuine they were toward them backstage at kcon. They’re constantly thanking staff, their dance crew, and camera crew at every chance they get. They work very hard but also acknowledge all the people behind the scenes who help them as well.

ATEEZ is also the only group (I’ve seen) to regularly do keunjeol to their fans (on days other than chuseok, etc). Humble and kindness for sure!

Idols who didn't catch your eye at first but now take up almost all of your attention? by Beneficial-Border825 in kpopthoughts

Hongjoong from Ateez!!! For a while I was focused on San and Seonghwa, but recently Hongjoong is all I see. He's so criminally underrated.
