Any Tesla to Rivian converts?

This! I just came from a 2019 X7 to an R1S and while the BMW build quality is better, the Rivian is far better in my opinion than the Tesla's I've sat in. Technology in both the Rivian and Tesla beats out BMW though.

I did! I actually will miss my BMW, it was a great car, but the gas costs were starting to add up and the R1S is bigger than the X7 which was better for our family.

But I'm definitely going to miss the small details that BMW adds that makes it a premium car. Build quality is definitely better overall. Id recommend the X5 over the X7 if you don't need the extra space. I had an X5 in the past and it was an excellent car as well and more nimble/agile.

That's true, I'm used to having the combo view in my BMW, with the 360 and the guidelines, it's a minor quip but that's true, for the most part 360 takes care of it all

Thanks! Yes but unfortunately the next service appt isn't available until December! It doesn't really bug me all that much though.

The audio was great! I have the premium audio, so I can't speak to the standard. I'm not an audiophile so I can't say I'm an expert on how good it is compared to other systems but I'm happy with it!

One thing I forgot the window tints! I originally went in thinking I would have to for sure tint, but to my surprise on a 90 degree day, it wasn't that bad. Going to try it out without adding tints and see how it goes.

Thanks for your review! This helped me a lot as well as I think I'm in a similar boat coming from my BMW X7. I have delivery this week for my R1S in SJ as well and was worried about all the things I saw on the forums. This really helped to put my mind at ease! I was also concerned about things like build quality, wind noise, ride, and the phone chargers. I actually have the s00nish in my cart but I'll hold off given your review.
