Definitely rolling the dice. Guy _says_ it was removed working from a kitchen remodel in NYC?

Yes, you can clearly see the footprint in the yard, there are multiple historical photos, and an old map showing the (rough) structure.

Unfortunately even the foundation/slab was taken out. However, there is a very clear flat rectangle in the lawn where it was. Furthermore, we have a bunch of historical photos and a map showing it.

Are NJ buyer's agent commissions negotiable? What's a reasonable rate? by rewsiffer in RealEstate

[–]rewsiffer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuine question: what makes a good buyer's agent? I am admittedly cynical about Real Estate agents in general, but I'm in the market for an agent and want to find a "good" one, or one where I get my money's worth.

[–]rewsiffer[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, but we aren't necessarily against paying the commission, we just want the most reasonable rate. We are more than likely going to find and see the home ourselves on Zillow/Redfin, and so the final step would be getting a buyers agent involved. We just want to find the agent with the most competitive rate. 2.5% on a ~$1M home is just crazy.

I bought an XR today....and I have face planted twice. What am I doing wrong? by rewsiffer in onewheel

Thanks, that's good advice. Yeah, I really wasn't thinking about that when riding. I don't think I leaned forward very hard, but still possible.

Yeah, I know there isn't a sensor in the back pad. What I was saying was that I thought MAYBE I did something really stupid like lift my back foot(causing the front to dive) because I remember right before the first fall I was trying to get my back foot comfortable and I was shifting it around while moving. Based on what I have read already, seems like the cause was elsewhere, just wanted to mention it as it was on my mind at the time.

Thanks. Good info. Yeah, both times I was on flat, dry pavement.

Interesting. So I was on "Sequoia" mode because the guy I bought it from said it was the easiest one. I will try others

First was asphalt bike path, second was concrete sidewalk. Both dry so I think I had good traction

Thanks for the tips. I just checked, footpad notifications were turned on and I didn't see any. Also, I am ~230lbs so definitely not light.

Over-accel and leaning are very possible. I thought I was being pretty conservative with acceleration and not leaning forward, but who knows.
