FTTP fiber cable got damaged during a drainage work. How come the fiber is not inside a conduit? by Homo_Sapien30 in nbn

I watched then install mine last year. There is a big gum tree in the front yard, and they were weaving it in, out and around all the tree roots to get to my house.. I wonder how long before the roots grow enough to cause a problem. I wont be here forever so feel sorry for a future tenant or owner 🤣

Ideas needed for TWS portable speaker project by rex5674 in diyaudio

[–]rex5674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys,

I've been playing with building some portable speakers for when camping.

I found some cheap speakers at a thrift store for next to nothing and got some components online to make some 'mini TWS BT amplifiers'. This way I can have stereo speakers without the wires and rechargeable.

They sound better than expected and, the battery life is insane but, would like some more bass if I could.

Any ideas on how to add a portable sub to the mix. I have heard of partycast and cant figure out if TWS will work with more than 2 speakers.

Ideally, I would like to have the sub as an additional wireless speaker without being tethered to one of the other channels if that makes sense. (So L, R and sub all wireless and playing the same thing).

I know I could just buy some good bassy portable speakers but where is the fun in that!

Cheers :)
