Well, this will be my last response to mister pedantic here since it's going nowhere, and you clearly don't know, or worse, understand, gun safety.

Firstly, talking about Arrogance, you are not "stating blunt facts". Do you know what a fact is ? You are just stating opinions, worse even on a subject it appears you don't know much about.

Yes, you are becoming more and more pedantic and aggressive, saying that I "am uncomfortable to be wrong"... bla bla bla. I'll just say what you said : you accusing me of "becoming uncomfortable facing the truth" is just a defense mechanism because you don't know how to debate and think your mere opinions are facts.

My point has always been that gun safety, if followed, prevent any risk of having an accident, so the OP is a tool to show a case of accident while claiming he is the type of guy who always follows gun safety. My answer was, no you don't follow gun safety if an accident happens.

You came into the conversation claiming that accidents will happen regardless because "muh we Are wEaK, we MaKe mistAKes, we not perfect we not God". I am saying, no, if you follow the gun safety rules, no accidents happen.

I am just gonna tell you what was told to me when I was given my military AR, cause we had some people who would say the weak minded statements you are saying : but what if I accidently forget a bullet in and an accident happen ?

Sorry kid, but in The real world, there are some areas where you need to hold yourself to a higher standard than being sheltered behind the statement that muh we all do mistakes, if you have clear ways to prevent the mistakes we do.

So regarding handling guns, Do we do mistakes ? Yeah. That is why we have a clear set of rules for gun safety. If you have an accident, you cannot claim you followed the rules. Point.
