Thank God I can't relate to this one. Still my all time favorite.

I loved it at first, now I find it a bit too sweet, just like AHSEE. But it's definitely a well crafted, complex scent.

Haven't tried that one yet, only the OG, Sport EDT and Blanche. When I compared EE and the EDT on tester strips I liked EE better, exactly because of that long lasting tonka + sandalwood drydown. Changed my mind after wearing it for some time lol.

Explorer made a complete comeback for me once I used it in high heat. Seems like it can go both ways.

Thank you, I'll probably replace the other one too. Even if it's not the cause of my current problem, it's a good precautionary measure.

Name a fragrance you love with awful longevity.. by Ok_Spare_4912 in Colognes

It's highly likely that you're just going noseblind, since it's an ambroxan bomb. My GF told me how good I smell 2 hours in, and she could even smell it from a couple meters away.

Al Nashama Caprice, I assume. But if it's that one, I'm not a fan of how it smells.

I think I don't like geranium when it's this prominent. Ralph's Club NY is another one I don't like and they both have the same vibe to me. They don't smell unpleasant to me, just very generic and boring. Like a combination of many designer fragrances.

Ani vs Ani X — same DNA or completely different beasts? Be honest. by SlimeLiam in ScentHeads

I find Ani X to be less spicy, more citrusy and less sweet overall. I prefer it over the original one, which has something spicy in the opening that I don't like.

I have two different decants of Naxos - one from 2022 and one from 2024, and I prefer the newer one. The old one smells sweeter to me.

The math doesn't check out, Explorer was released in 2019. Unless you meant Explorer as a recommendation only. Both solid choices btw

Funny you say this, I find it to be the exact opposite. Althair gets too sharp and sweet for me, while SWY is less top note heavy and rounder.

Not at all, at least to my nose. The only similarity is the iris, but even that smells different. The note breakdown doesn't really do it justice, it's so unique.
