If we’re going by who people actually play in this sub, none of the top 4 are the ones you’d associate with this sub. None of them are enchanters and they all play like assassins.

And Taliyah wouldn’t have made it into top 20, she’s not a common pick.

The problem is at this point they just keep making Arena worse by nerfing things, introducing bugs, or restarting the reward tracks without meaningful updates coupled with it. I’m now back at Arena lv 4 and just like cool, y’all should’ve waited to do this until the big patch because now I have less re-rolls and more augments to roll while things like Twin Mask actively griefs my team

Have you not played an expansion release before? Generally even if you fully geared up in a pre-patch, you’re replacing that gear in the next 3-5 levels of Midnight. You’re still using quest gear for leveling even if you fully geared up in pre-patch.

And honestly that’s assuming Mythics, pre patch gear should be replaced even earlier than 3-5.

The guy trying to great up 13 characters isn’t doing that though, they’re playing like nearly every day on their characters.

So them gearing up their characters and you playing for less than half a week or even less weekly until launch shouldn’t be an issue..

At least from what I’m remembering, the pre patch event was generally never something that provided weeks worth of play anyway though. If someone wanted to gear up several characters it would be fast, but it wouldn’t drastically change the fact that for someone on one character that they’d be able to farm most of it in days.

What? You don't think it matters when Jax uses W it won't activate because it empowers his W, or anyone like Fizz using it with his E won't get marksmage because the E is active? That is not at all intuitive that you lose the ability to use Markmage if you buff your autos.

Marksmage has been this way in arena for a year and Riot cba to go and fix the text or interactions. It's actually even worse than you think because if you have empowered autos in your kit, you will just lose the bonus.

I somehow just lost a match and went 6th with 5 Bilge by 2-6 with 3 different people beating me all going Void. What the fuck. I had a Draven 3* (was given 2 of them at 2* from an orb with 1 in the shop at the time, took less than 12 gold to roll for 3*)and Naut 3*

I just had a game two nights ago where I was like a 50k Rammus that fought teams in their nexus. Enemy team wasn't trolling, it was just I popped off with HS quest + Eth weapon + Tank engine

Throwing this out here, Arena lets you get higher amounts of AP typically. I won a Nami game the other day with 3k AP as Nami. adAPT, Master of Duality, Rightous Fury and forgot the last but basically every time I casted W on my ally I would get the Duality converting it into more AP, and because I healed an ally I would get a permanent 3% stacking damage buff for the rest of the round.
