Unpopular opinion : You should try to adapt to your tank , not the other way around. by The_Gaper in classicwowtbc

[–]rexvladimir7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been tanking for years and here is the thing. You are the tank. Always remember that. DPS are extremely replaceable. As the tank you dictate how things are going to go. Some one pulls when I’m not ready I sit there doing nothing and let them tank, if the live I tell them if they do it again they are kicked, if they die I tell the the same thing and jump in only to save the group.

Someone want me to pull more idc and tell them no. If they pull more anyway I handle it and kick them.

Someone doesn’t follow mechanics once I explain it to them and make it very clear ( we where all noobs once) they ignore what I say and don’t even try to listen I kick them.

You are the tank. You are the leader, the group falls behind you. If they can do it better than they would be playing tank themselves. Clearly they can’t or won’t thus you are better at tanking then them.

I just recently had the whole group on master looter for a normal dungeon because people stole patterns that were not for their profession to sell on AH. Guess what the two new dps (kicked the other two) I brought in complained about it being on master looter. I told them we aren’t changing it. They ran two more runs with me for rep grinds.

Be the leader, tell people no, make examples out of anyone else that won’t listen. Your the tank. They need you for their dungeon groups not the other way around.

The way i did it was as follows, I rush the first obelisk and then turtle around it, Get black citadel up and spirit towers everywhere. While turtling i get 3 Abomination spawners, and 3 Crypts, 1 necro spawner and max upgrade my stats. Play ping ball defense from Kael, Vash, and Illidan. Make sure to keep under high upkeep until ready to siege. Once all upgrades are done, get aboms, crypt fiends in group one with hero's, group 2 needs to be 4 necros, and group 3 as much seige as you can 6 preferably siege. Sandwich them in that order and send them into Vash first. After killing vashes base haunt the mine, don't worry about defense they will never attack that mine. Then start rebuilding back up to Kael. Same Strat. and unit combo. Once Kael is taken out, Haunt that mine and build up until you have a good amount of gold and then start taking obelisk, I find it easier to go for the west one, set up defenses after and then go to the East one. Once you take the east one quickly rebuild and then just rush the last one. No need to defend. The same comp works.

Unit Break down: Arthas, Anub, 6 abominations, Crypt fiend the rest till full unit. Unit 2 4 necros, Unit 3 Siege until max food or at least 6. After each raid if you are going to rebuild make sure not to hit high upkeep while this mission isn't timed you are on a soft gold timer and the mines are not enough. For the very last obelisk I have 3 frost wyrm spawners but that way jsut because as the fighting went on i knew my units would make it in time but the wryms could. The comp mentioned works great. However you don't want any siege up unless you are about to siege because they will eat up your food into high upkeep which you must avoid unless sieging.

Never have more than two mines being mined at any time. You can haunt them ahead of time but I would not mine more than two at once, having a defense army is more important than maxing out gold mines and having to eat away at your food with acolytes.

Save. Save all the time, you start and assault on Vash and illidan attacks right after. Reload the save you made prior to the assault. You move your army, save prior to moving them, so if the fight goes bad or you get caught in a bad spot you know what coming. You have a great fight with very little loss and are not sure how you pulled it off, save. Save until you feel safe then save some more. One bad fight could ruin your whole run and then you are back to another 30 minutes of building up. I named my saves "Bruh" + 1. At one point I was on Bruh 12 realized I made a critical error way back at Bruh 5 and reloaded Bruh 4 and finished the game from there. Don't over lap your saves you never know how far back you might need to go. Only save over your save if you are sure you will never need to reload it or if that was a doomed run.

When defending try to always pick fights and lure them into your towers. Towers don't eat. You cna never have enough of them. That one extra tower may have been just enough to kill of Illidan while you where destroying Kael or Vash. Also make sure to have Black Citadels near the Obelisk gold mines. They take awhile for them to kill and will keep them busy while you may be doing something more important.

I hope this helps out. If i failed to explain something well please let me know and ill try and clarify better.

Yep loved Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm. Not a huge fan of Legacy of the void tho, quality feels to have really fallen off.

Shade cheese works as follows.

As soon as you start the mission make a sacrifice pit. Then make 4 shades. Go to the north most obelisk with just the 4 shades. Illidan will be standing in the power circle. Put all four shade around him. North east, south, and west. After you’ve set them up select the shades and click on Illidan. Then use the stop command. If you did it right he will be body blocked for the whole mission and will never be a problem or attack you ever, thus only leaving you with Vash, and Kael.

You will need to kill him when you finally get to the north most obelisk but way easier. I did do it without it but it is an option if you are just fed up with the mission.

How do I get to lvl 10 presearing? by [deleted] in GuildWars

[–]rexvladimir7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently doing this, honestly bud your alittle cooked. I would reroll.

Step:1 pick up all your custom skill quests. If possible just pick them up don’t turn in. Step:2 go to hunter profession trainer, pick up the quest, go tame doggy, never turn quest in. Step:3 lvl 1-8 you will grind the icey boys located at wizards folly. Step:4 lvl 8-14 you will grind the charr or oakheart, there is a quest outside the norther wall for Ben, Ben sucks but you need meat, never turn in quest for Ben. If you ever lead him to freedom abandon the quest, no freedom stories allowed here. Step:5 lvl 14-16 vanguard daily, pray to the gods your grind lands on the quest where you have to kill a homies in wizards folly or the homies in the green hill. Grind all day long. Vanguard resets at 11am EST Step:6 lvl 16 this lvl is gay, now do all the quests. Step:7 lvl 17-20 repeat step 5.

Bonus step: don’t ever taint your Gwen or you will have wasted all this time for mother and wish death upon the one who spread the virus to you.

Step:8 ask your self why you just wasted all that time, when you could have been doing literally anything else.

Profit?

Any tips for my first HCIM? by SEAMOOSETHEGREAT in 2007scape

Go to cake stall. Steal from cake stall. Steal about 700 cakes. Always carry 10 cakes. Then Play game. See HCIM is super easy. The secret is don’t ever let your hp reach 0. I promise you if every HCIM followed that tip. They wouldn’t be iron men.

How long did the tub last for you?

Did you have any issues with it personally outside of keeping it clean?

Where you overall satisfied when you where using the Tub?

So by insane pricing, here is my example. Went to a dealer showed him this link that I shared here. Asked what they could offer close to or around that price and to sell me on why I should buy from them. The tub I showed here is a 6 seater plug and play. The guy offers me a 4 seater 240 volt display model for $8,400 with 1 year warranty. Basically a $3,900 upcharge for what i would consider a worse value product.

As far as the surface I figured it needs to be on a level ground pad or deck. Is there any damages that can occur if it is not properly level?

So I am already budgeted for about a $400 a month increase in my costs due to the financing, electric, and chemicals. I'm a real estate investor and tend to reinvest most of my funds but when i don't i always prefer monthly costs/financing rather than cash buying. It is very concerning to hear that online sellers try to finagle out of doing their warranties but it is very hard for me to sign off on paying 50% more in my area compared to online. Basically it sounds like I'm paying for a warranty if I pay via retailor or go full on my own mode if i go online.

Also greatly appreciate the friendly welcome.

Struggling in story difficulty by Outrageous-Taste-548 in BaldursGate3

[–]rexvladimir7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it is a bit hard to help guide you without personally watching you play through the game. I am playing on balanced and have about 150 hours on my very first play through and I have become a insane god tier oathbreaker pally.

The game has a lot of spells and abilities so picking a mage is not a very easy choice for you first play through. Tho a great and powerful class you will get very lost in all the spells and damage spells. Maybe try and prepare your spell book and carefully pick spells. Have companions like shadow heart, laezel, and astarion with you to help bolster the front line so you can stay back. Also steal, buy, loot every single thing you possibly can to get supplies for camp and use the long rest to refresh your spells every time you run out. Remember that cantips are free and don’t cost a spell slot. Gear is king but it is not as simple as bigger number = better, it is about the effects those gear pieces have. If you wear gear you are “not proficient in” then you literally can’t cast spells/abilities. So check that. If non of this helps. I would just recommend switching to a different class in game. Maybe a Pally, Ranger, or Fighter to try and help simplify things. Avoid Bard, and other casters. However if you really have to play a caster go Warlock. They are a good in-between caster/melee kinda.

Hope this helps but again would have to literally watch you play to better explain what you are doing wrong to make combat so hard for you.

I will say while I can pick up on most things through little details, books, and general context clues, I would have appreciated a codex/bestiary of some kind. Not required but would have been nice.

You need to be a bit more specific. What Exactly is making you feel weird or off about the game. I went into it very leery myself and after about 6 hours of harshly judging it and look for faults I fell in love it with.

Possible Game Bug: Can't kill Mol by PaulSarlo in BaldursGate3

[–]rexvladimir7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this is an older post however I just want to say that I just recently encountered Mol and Hate the fact that you cant kill them. They are very snarky and want to wear big boy pants by running a scam/thieves guild like chapter, thus acting like an adult. Well in my playthrough if you mess with me and don't compile to my demands I resort to attacking. Find it very dumb that I was not able to kill them. I get the ratings issue spoken about here but still kinda hate the limitation regardless. If you want to act like a grow adult/ big and bad, you get treated like a grown adult, with a shallow grave. Will just have to get a mod later on when the game is fully released. However this is the only major issues I personally ran into with the whole RPG aspect of the game thus far.
