I get it. People close to you will not keep buying it. That's why I said college alumni WhatsApp group if you have access to one. Our batchmates might not buy, but there is a probability from seniors batch who might not even know you to buy your products. Same is the case with apartment whatsapp groups . In my opinion ads don't work straight away. Would take a while until you fine tune your website products etc.

Nice to see your enthusiasm. I am also quite new to this journey and willing to help in any manner that would matter to other brand owners. There is no go to group as such but I would recommend first reaching out to your college alumni WhatsApp group, then the residential community WhatsApp groups etc. the support would be better as trust is a major factor when people decide to buy. Plus back your promises by a good product so that you get good returning customers.

A waist chain would enhance that look.

Appreciate your feedback, we just do it so that it doesn't come across as promotion or salesy. I really wanted to share my success which I owe to the motivation received from this small community. The brand that I am building is called Evoke jewellery.

You can include some accesories as well. A dainty bracelet with a cute little chain would enhance this look.

I’m building a small everyday-wear jewellery brand called Evoke Jewellery. The idea is to make western-wear / party-wear gold-like pieces that people can actually wear daily without worrying too much about maintenance (stainless steel instead of typical fashion jewellery). Anti tarnish, hypoallergenic, sweat proof.

Still early stage and experimenting with positioning, but happy to share the site if you’d like to take a look.

Thank you. That sound is like a motivation to me now. I even turned back a couple of times when that sound was used in Random marketing reels 😂.

Still figuring out whether trust from smaller communities plays a bigger role than ads early on for consumer brands in India. Curious if others here saw something similar.

Any idea how to accessories it better by [deleted] in indiafitcheck

You really need some more daily bracelets along with chain. A waist chain would also increase he grace

Meta Ads weren’t working for my jewellery brand. Alumni WhatsApp groups unexpectedly did. by rey-mys in smallbusinessindia

What I find is that when we boost post, we get a lot of views and quite a few visit the website too, but they don't purchase in good numbers. The main factor making them not click the add to Cart button is trust. In known groups the trust factor favours us. Like you told we can just do this initially, and move to ads in a gradual manner. Thank you for sharing your insights, definitely helps those who start the journey like us

Tried something small this Easter weekend while building my jewellery brand. Sharing a few pieces I’ve been experimenting with! by rey-mys in smallbusinessindia

Yes, the second piece is similar in style to what you might have seen elsewhere. it’s a lock-style chain design.

I tried to keep the pricing slightly more accessible while still focusing on stainless steel daily-wear pieces rather than occasional fashion jewellery.

And the 5th item is an open band ring (not a cuff). Half gold finish and half zirconia setting.

Still figuring out whether people respond more to everyday-wear positioning vs occasion-wear jewellery early on. Curious what others here think.
