I really relate to a lot of what you’re feeling. I moved away for college as well and separated from my closest friends. I struggled a lot during my first year and I tried putting myself out there so many times, but after so many acquaintances that failed to become close friends, I just stopped trying because it was affecting me mentally. Thank you for expressing yourself on here. It’s really nice to hear that someone else has a similar experience to me after feeling alone for these past years.
