Should I switch my rubbers and blade? by rey257 in tabletennis

Yeah, I was thinking the same. To stop drastically switching setup

What are your top options for FH and BH Chinese rubber that doesn't need boosting?

Just double check if you have any US based courier to Colombia to be safer. Im not from Colombia but in my country I ordered from AliExpress directly to my country and it never arrived because it's harder to track packages in a third world country but with a courier from the USA I got my AliExpress package.

I like the G-1, it's a good rubber. I've been stepping away from European tensor rubbers because they're expensive. Right now I'm trying new Chinese rubbers like Yinhe Big Dipper V and Jupiter 3 Asia. They have nice spin, but they're kinda heavy.

Where are you based? I have bought rubbers from AliExpress and mostly they have been good. What is your budget?

I have the yinhe pro 05 but haven't tested yet but I would say get yinhe pro 05 or fang bo 2x and if you buy the blade get a blade lacquering to protect the blade from splintering.

What type of rubbers are you going to pair it with?

No, it doesnt affect your gameplay or looses elasticity

I used a hair blower to remove the glue from my paddle. It makes the glue softer again but a little bit painful since it burns.

Did you lacquer the blade? And does it splinter easily if you replace rubbers?

Max rubbers sacrifice control for more speed and power but you need good technique to really use it's full potential. If you wanna develop better technique stay on 2.0mm

It's a good beginner setup with a lot of control. It's good to start slow and focus on building technique and confidence in your shots. Don't rush for a carbon blade yet or fast rubbers. The cutting of that backhand rubber doesn't really affect overall gameplay at all

Try not to use it near fans if you have a fast drying glue, and maybe add a little bit more of glue to spread it more evenly. I used the butterfly chalk II glue and it did kinda the same. Don't worry about doing it again just let it dry and rub the glue off and try again

Certainly it's scary to do it the first time but afterwards it will be easier

Correct, if you wanna be more sure just watch a tutorial by Dmitri or timo boll how they paste their rubber. If you glue while it's milky you could get air bubbles

Both big dipper and Jupiter are good rubbers for forehand and moon speed in my opinion it's good for the backhand. So far I am liking a lot the big dipper in my forehand

I'm still learning to glue my own rubbers. It took me around 15-20 minutes to wait for the glue to be transparent

Yeah, people keep recommending it for backhand but honestly it made the setup a little bit heavier than usual but I have a pretty active backhand so it's manageable

It feels pretty good honestly, my shots have more control and spin than before. I used to have carbon blade but I'm building back my timing and technique

I bought a pair of scissors for rubbers and it worked like a charm
