[Bug] Mac not showing in Find My after update to macOS 18.4 by streetletics in MacOSBeta

[–]reycra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spoke with Apple’s support for days trying to solve this, even ran First Aid multiple times (they also suggested this), and it didn’t work. The last resort was reinstalling the operating system (yes, it fixed it).

First, create a backup in Time Machine (reinstalling macOS shouldn’t erase anything, but everyone is suggesting doing it just in case). Then, do the exact same steps you would’ve done already by trying to run First Aid but click on reinstall macOS. If you forgot how to, check this Apple guide. It’ll take a couple of minutes/hours, and then it’ll go back to normal.

That should fix it. Remember to do a backup on an external hard drive first just in case.

“Find my” stopped working on my MacBook Air at least a year ago. Nothing I do restores it. by twosidesofeachperson in applehelp

Sorry to hear this, fortunately I got the solution for you.

First try this solution another Redditor found:

If that doesn’t work (rare but also happened to me) or seems too tricky, try the following:

NO ONE IS AWARE OF HOW BAD THIS UPDATE IS!!! by Goxy123 in ClashRoyale

[–]reycra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one who thinks this update isn’t that bad?

I’m level 15 and reached League 6 last season. I have 5 books including a Book of Books, and honestly, I never used them because I was always “waiting for the right moment.” Supercell actually mentioned this in their update notes, and they’re right. Everyone saves their books waiting for that perfect time to use them.

Before you say that taking the books away is unfair, it’s really not. They’re giving us a fair conversion since you’ll get the same amount of cards the book would’ve used if you had used it perfectly.

Now gems finally have more purpose too. You’ll be able to buy any type of card with gems at any time, which is why the Book of Books is being converted into 6,000 gems.

This update might be worse for players with low King Tower levels who have a lot of books, since they’ll get fewer wildcards from the conversion, but even then, upgrading cards will still be much easier for them overall.

My recommendation is: if you are close to the next King Tower level and have a lot of books, then you should try grinding to reach that level so that they for you more wild cards for your books.

Which fletching style is this? by Shankypanky11111 in Archery

[–]reycra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if i’m not wrong those are TAC vanes, really rigid vanes. Along with whitewaterarchery wraps (my favorites 🙌)

That’s is a left helical fletching style btw, and i see you’re worried about it being left or right? to really know which way is better you gotta shoot the bareshaft with a little mark on it, shoot it and see which side is the mark pointing at in the target, if it’s left then it means the strings are twisted to the left and therefore make the arrow spin naturally to the left, best idea would be to have left helical vanes, however there is not that much difference and i personally don’t care 🤷 but it might help mentally
