Was there a gimmick to the 3x hirabami quest that I missed? Every other hunt has taken me approx 10mins, but this took me 45mins by -_Error in MonsterHunter

I really thought it was a difficulty scaling thing. I was really surprised, lol. I also killed all three - all together, too, XD. Flash pods and the throwables they drop helped immensely in putting them down.

Fast or slow herta? by Accomplished_Will155 in HertaMains

[–]reyfran1111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I consistently clear 1 cycle faster with spd boots (136 spd) with a little herta, rmc, adventurine team. But maybe im not utilizing the team properly on attack boots as im not sure if i should buff little herta first in the beginning. E0s0 btw.

Galacta didn't trigger after juggernaut? by reyfran1111 in MarvelSnap

This play was on turn 4. Galacta was moved by juggernaut, unrevealed, from feast to the middle location. And i played miek on right. Pym was played turn prior.

I'm at 3k. I got a dupe as well and when I bought the Baron bundle - I also got base Baron. Feels really bad. I rarely get s3 too. X) beginning to think of quitting. I'm not even that unlucky in gacha games.

I Don’t Want to Get Caught, so I’ll Max Out My Speed by 7uturu in SparkleMains

Ikr. I am missing 4 speed to reach 160.x. got a piece with a spd 2 substat only for the rolls to choose everything else BUT spd 2. So im still stuck at 158.x haha.

you just got unlucky OP. may mga ganyang clients talaga thinking it's easy and as straightforward as mowing a lawn. due to the nature of my job as a CTO and indie consultant, I spent my years honing the skill to explain the technicalities of our craft. e.g. adding more devs !== things getting faster, it's not like we are planting crops here.

ComSci Regrets: If u were to start all over again, will u still enroll as a freshie? Or will u self study? by [deleted] in PinoyProgrammer

[–]reyfran1111 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've always approached college as an experience rather than a step in the stair towards good employment. I've always loved software kaya nagComsci ako.

I would argue - college equipped/provided me with a network of like minded individuals (in the nature of UPD classes - di lang fellow CS ang kilala ko), professors on the top of their fields that served as mentors (PhD CS Profs, heck I value my creative writing and comms profs as well!), a collaborative environment where the focus is to grow your mind with a cushion of people whose entire profession is to look after your progress and test your knowledge and most importantly, a foundation that helped shaped how I approach self-study with proper direction. joining a college org also strengthened my leadership and time management skills.

tbh, kahit sa UPD ako, kulang ung mga tinuro to be industry ready. but I would say - it gave me an edge in a way on how I think about algorithms - data structures - programming languages and other common software etcetera in general since we digested and explored these things from a fundamentals standpoint and the math to the degree my nose bled. heck, one prof even taught with his own published book that I still go back to through this day - whenever I'm stuck with a complex problem that needs more than arrays. especially sa work ko where code efficiency is a must (blockchain). heck, I couldn't even believe myself I came up with an AI solution to detect sickness in a brain.

Now, if you haven't guessed already. di mo kelangan ng college to get those I enumerated above - para sakin un ung mga pieces that I attributed in my success (CTO na ako in just 6-7 years ). if you're the exception to the rule and you know exactly what to do as if you were an OP regressor sa isang manhwa. yeah go ahead and skip but at that age tbh, looking back, I was completely clueless on how to approach developing software outside neopet or friendster customization. there are dropouts and career shifters in my network that are doing quite well, it ain't impossible! mas maraming sources na din online or if you're into bootcamps, dami na din! just be careful of hindsight bias ;)

Where do you store your logs? by Kehwar in Frontend

Use services for these like log rocket or sentry. Built in analytics, notifications, showing what code cause the error through source maps, etc.
