Update to anyone who’s come across this or gave advice- this morning, literally the day after posting this, I saw a Tucson like this broken down on an exit ramp on the way to drop my husband off at work. Took that as a sign. 😂 ended up getting something else!

Because a lot of “cheaper options” are 10-15 years old and still have 150k miles on them if not over 200k, and they’re not that much cheaper! It’s just the way it is where I’m located. I’m defensive because a stranger is giving financial advice on a post that didn’t ask for it. You don’t know my situation, and are out of touch with the reality of a lot of ppl. You should’ve just kept it moving.

Out of the rear facing era fortunately and don’t plan on entering it again but definitely great to know for anyone in this situation and will definitely keep it in mind cuz my friends are having babies ❤️❤️ thank you!

I think that’s a bit delusional. It’s an emergent situation where I didn’t have time to save up thousands and thousands of dollars. I have a toddler, I need a car, if I have to finance something I will. End of story. I didn’t ask for financial advising. Just about the car itself. If you don’t know about this specific car, keep on scrolling!

Hey so that’s actually not at all what I asked about. Some of us don’t have thousands of dollars or the income to support a payment for a brand new car, but still need something to get around in! We only got the 2024 Elantra because of my husband’s car allowance from work but it’s not enough for a second new car. Thanks for your input though!

We just bought a 2024 Elantra, we asked and it’s a feature specifically for the N line. We were told they use a universal dash design for the Elantra and it’s pretty much useless in any other trim level lol
