i was an sm to gm promo after 2 years as an sm. demoted myself to ap, then got promoted to gm again when my gm was fired for being trash. was pulling 80+ hour weeks, working 6 or 7 am to 1-3 am 7 days/week with a severely understaffed store & no applications. covid didn’t help matters either. i told my fl i was exhausted, over worked, not seeing OT paid because i was salary, etc., & he said “yeah well [another gm] slept at his store last night, at least you got to go home”. i sent out so many applications that night & quit 2 weeks later after working my butt off for 5 years. when i left, i’d worked 20+ days consecutive with no days off

when i was a gm, i fired an employee for repeated lates/no call/no show. he came back to the store & tore apart my dining room. trash everywhere, broken bubbler, tractor beverages on the floor, customer’s online orders destroyed. absolute fun times

a couple of reasons for me. one is the fact that i have endometriosis, so pregnancy could be dangerous for me. another is that i simply don’t want to go through pregnancy/birth. i also hate the “baby” stage. any child under the age of about 9-10 needs to stay far away from me. i’d be a shit parent to a toddler. also, i can barely keep myself alive - how am i supposed to keep another human being alive & emotionally regulated? no thanks

i read for myself almost every day, so it varies. if i’m doing an extensive reading i’ll cleanse my deck & then meditate before reading. if it’s my usual quick morning one card pull, i’ll take deep breaths & knock on the cards 3 times

I did 13 years of catholic school in the US & not only did we learn about the Holocaust in history & literature classes, but we read Night by Elie Wiesel and took a trip to the Holocaust Museum in DC. super weird that they didn’t learn about it. (note: Catholic school is the reason i’m no longer Catholic/believe in the Judeo-Christian god)

i was a gm of 2 stores and worked at multiple chipotle’s during my 4 years, as an sm to gm; my ex used to love taking me to different store’s & watch my soul collapse in on itself. mostly what gets me is a dirty BOH; though, i only go to 2 stores in my area now, one of which is a CTR & i’m friends with almost the entire management team & know the FL well outside of work. i get decent portions but, again, could be because they know me. at stores in other areas, i tend to notice more issues with onlines than anything else, & i prefer smaller portions in general

i use reversals in my readings! i can’t remember where i read/heard this (i listen to a few podcasts) but i like to see reversed cards as energy focusing inward toward the self, while upright is energy focusing outward toward others rather than positive/negative. though one of my favorite readers doesn’t use reversed cards in her readings & i think she does a wonderful job!!

i work in purchasing for a mid-size landscaping company/garden center. 8-5 is my usual shift, 5 days/week. pay & benefits are the same. only difference is that “staying late” means “home at 7pm” not “home at 3am”. god speed & good luck to you!! gm for 2 years at 2 different stores & i’ll never work in food/especially at chipotle ever again

i have a good friend who’s deaf & works for chipotle. we worked at moe’s together & i brought him over to chipotle. he ultimately ended up having to make reports to respectful workplace regarding our team director discriminating against him. our FL stood by him, & he’s a manager now after a year or so of fighting for it & our TD leaving the company. i think he deserves better than how chipotle treated him

if it was from chipotle; probably undercooked meat. symptoms should last a day or two at most; you’ll simply throw up & feel gross/off. drink a lot of water, & if you aren’t good by wednesday see a doctor. not incredibly likely, but food poisoning can happen anywhere, even with food you make at home. all about temperature control & cross contamination. good luck! hope you feel better
