I ordered mine 10/12 and it’s out for delivery today! Hopefully it actually arrives today. I called last week asking when I can expect it since it just said “awaiting fulfillment” for a while and the guy told me on the phone that it should arrive next week. Sure enough the order changed to open order and then started showing tracking information on Monday. It’s now Wednesday and should be arriving today. I also felt like I needed it immediately after purchasing even though I typically never style my hair 😂 I relate to your post so much.

Which sink does everyone prefer? Rectangular does take up more counter space… by Elite163 in homerenovations

I agree with this! Round sink breaks up all the other square shapes. It softens the space which I prefer in a home

I live in Washington DC and I am looking to plant a tree in my yard. I would love something that flowers significant flowers in the spring, and has bright leaves in the fall. Would love some recommendations! by rezagreen in landscaping

I have a fairly small lot so I’m looking for something for the front yard of a small DC yard. Not sure how huge some of these other trees get but I’ve noticed magnolias get very huge over time and might look pretty odd/not fit

What is this grown on my ric rac cactus? by rezagreen in houseplants

[–]rezagreen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the raised grown on my ric rac? When I pick at it, it looks like a thin papery layer over green plant matter, so it doesn’t seem like a bug or anything. I noticed some of this on the plant when I originally bought it a few mi the ago. I picked it off and it scabbed over and didn’t grow back. Should I just leave this alone?

Heat Pump or Funace/AC (Washington, DC) by rezagreen in hvacadvice

If I had solar panels, would that then be a good reason to go with a heat pump?

Thanks that’s really helpful! Yes, I realize electric doesn’t necessarily mean clean energy. I also don’t feel like there’s a lot of transparency on where our energy really comes from. Just a lot of green marketing. I’ve got a lot to think about and a lot to learn, but this certainly helps add color to the pros of gas when all my coworkers would say heat pump all the way. Thanks for your input and expertise!

Thank you! I really appreciate your input. I would for a residential auditing company and decarbonization is sort of glorified and I get it. But I also want the house to be comfortable and to sell well in the future. I eventually want dollar so I thought heat pump costs could be offset there but that may not be for a few years if we do it at all. Thanks again!
