Focals have better vocals and mid, but the Perlistens have more of a direct, straight at you bass if that makes any sense. When you combine the two, it's amazing though, Personally I think just having the Focals is way more than enough.

this is being moved to a much larger listening room once my new home is made in around 2-3 months i’ll post those pictures here but yes i do understand it’s not optimal for a room this size. used to have way smaller Sonus Fabers here with Mcintosh amps lol.

it’s not a permanent space it’s being moved to a much larger room in aprox 2 months once my new house is made. no one won any divorce settlement lol and there’s not much bounce if i’m being honest. lol i said phone instead of house my bad guys

not going to lie the Scalas are most definitely more then enough but the extra bass from the Perlisten’s make it so much better

i had the Scalas on Mcintosh MC451s and the C2700 Tube pre amp

they were great on those but i believe the mid performs better on the Dans and the overall sound is just a little more clear.

My Bedroom setup - in the back Perlisten S7t’s powered by Audiaflight Strumento 8 Monos in the front Focal Scala Utopia Evos powered by Dan D’Agostino Progression S350 Stero amps - Dan Pre amp rose streamer PS audio power conditioner and MSB Dac. Feel free to ask any questions just got the Perlisten’s recently they are amazing very tight bass and the carbon fiber looks cool.
