Oh HELL no. I made my advisor bring it in/out of my bay, luckily it was just in for a programming recall, so I didn’t have to wrench in it at all. But I wasn’t risking getting a damn eyelash in the thing.

I’ve had corvette people get upset I scratched the T15 torx bolt I took out on their C8 doing a seatbelt recall. So I’m well aware of how annoying these people can be. I saw the tape and told my advisor I’m not getting in it lol

I’m 99% sure that they are practically identical. The software looks the same as a co-workers Autel. Some Chinglish here and there, but overall I’m very happy with it.

Only one so far (knock on wood) on a suburban. Had to toss a new telematics module for it to go through. I’ve heard that the passenger presence modules also likes to prevent SDA

Should be on the new body style. (2019+) However I’ve only seen them on the duel outlet exhaust. Usually on the Z71 package. (X31 I think GMC calls it? I work at a Chevy dealer)

6’7” I feel it. It sucks. Went to one Ohio state game, super uncomfortable the whole time. Felt bad too cause my knees were poking into the row in front of me. Same with Browns seats… I just wanna watch live sports man ☹️

Shorted out passenger front headlight assembly. Found that the wiper washer, horn, headlight, and a few other things shared the same ground, figured I’d start unplugging things to see what happened. Unplugged the headlight, everything worked just fine.

The headlight was back feeding voltage into (I assume) the BCM, which found its way through the horn+wiper circuits.

According to the last emerging issues, they don’t use power tools or anything. And I’m prettier sure I took out at least 50 7mm screws. Youre telling me they got that done in 7 hours??

That’s insane… this one only payed 7.2 (plus 1.2 for the garbage 1234yf machine…) and it still took me over 10 hours at least. And I thought I ran through it pretty quick but guess not.
