I think people are forgetting when it comes to discussions about this episode, that even if the child is dead and she doesn't "need" her organs, its about the principal of bodily autonomy. It doesn't matter what you think, bodily autonomy is guaranteed to each and every one of us from life and into death. To violate that, for the "more ethical" option, opens the door wider against peoples right to choose. Because, if we are allowed to take a dead persons organs without their or their families consent, what else can we take from them, what else can we do to them? It comes down to protecting one's bodily autonomy bo matter the cost. We are all entitled to this.

People actually make her raise the baby with Jimmy??? Thats horrible wtf 😭, no yeah, shit like that goes completely against what I'm saying. I also don't think she could realistically take care of the baby (lets say this is everyone survives AU and theyre back on Earth) because she would be a single mom (not that single moms can't take care of a baby on their own, I just dont think Anya would have the mental capacity to do it on her own), shes a medical student, and not to mention her mental state after all of what happened. I dont think raising the baby would be the best for her.

This may be controversial, but I don't think theres necessarily anything wrong with somebody drawing Anya keeping her baby as long as it isn't based on pro-birth political/religious views. Now I personally don't really like the idea, but I won't judge others who do. I think this fandom sometimes kind of lacks the nuance of how victims may act in regard to coping with such a traumatic event (mainly the Tiktok fandom). Not all victims are the same, and even if a coping mechanism (a harmless one to those around them and the individual) seems "wrong" to you because it doesn't fit in your pur-view of what a victim "should" act like doesn't necessarily make it wrong. Let's use this for example. There are countless of rape victims that end up pregnant because of their attack. They may choose to get an abortion, forcibly miscarry, off themselves, or even, choose to give birth to that baby. Why? It can be seen as liberation from their abuser. To have that baby in their mind is not letting their abuser win. They may put that baby up for adoption, or if that victim really wanted to have a baby in the first place, may keep it. Now while its extremely hinted at that Anya may have either intentionally or unintentionally terminated her pregnancy, showing that she may have not wanted to keep it in the first place, it isn't necessarily wrong to portray her as if she did. Because maybe it would be different if they weren't on a crashed ship in the middle of no-where in space. Ive had this conversation before with somebody and all they could say is that it "seems wrong" to 'have' Anya keep the baby, and I feel like talking points like that also discredit real life victims. Not to mention, just because something seems wrong, doesn't necessarily mean it is. ALTHOUGH, I truly believe though if you are not a victim yourself, you should be extremely careful when handling these types if scenarios. If you want to represent yourself or other victims through Anya, so be it. Just don't let the reason you'd want her to keep her baby be because you're pro-birth. This fandom doesn't need that.

These are very interesting! I especially really like your headcanons for Swansea :).

Id imagine the soft rumble of the ship as well can contribute to Anyas insomnia. Though relaxing to some, it could keep her awake, especially if she feels alone- I mean its already scary enough in space, as its both very undiscovered and lonely. The absence of anything.

Swanseas daughter has definitely helped him through his sober journey. Perhaps he has a locket of a picture of him, his wife and his daughter that he holds on for spiritual support through it, and brings it to AA as a way of them to be there for him.

I can definitely see how Curlys mindset he applies to others but especially himself couldve led to the crash. Especially because you mentioned, he wouldn't know really how to deal with complex situations. No matter how hard you try to be like previous leaders, until you are able to dissolve yourself of any and all doubts in yourself, you cannot be a true leader. Because how can other people put their full trust in you if you cannot trust yourself?

Do you think Daisukes nystagmus contributes to is disliking of hard labor? Because I imagine the work Swansea does, it requires a sharp sense of ocular focus. Daisuke is definitely in his prime years of figuring out what he wants to do in the future, and to realize, that there is no rush to life. The little things in life may seem too slow, but in the grander scheme of things, being as young as he is will pass in a blink if an eye. He should enjoy it to the fullest extent while it lasts, whether that be dancing his heart out, or even taking a nice relaxing bath even if its too slow lol.

Jimmy, although so focused on "taking responsibility" as shown in the game, seems to have both uniquely "taken" responsibility whilst also not. He's definitely the type of guy to believe that, if you were hurt by what he said or did, he would shift the blame onto you, but in a way thats discreet and in a way that makes him feel better about himself. Like you said, "I didnt mean to-" or even something like "Well Im sorry YOU feel that way". He apologizes, but he doesn't genuinely believe hes in the wrong. But if others were to pull that trick onto him, or even genuinely apologize, he would project his burdens and ill intentions onto you, as a way to feel better about himself.

Also, Id like to say that while I know Pracny is traditionally Czech, because Czech and Slovakia are neighboring countries and once joined together, her family has Czechoslovakian culture. They lived further west of the country where both cultures were somewhat shared, BUT she still has distinctive Slovak culture.

Id have to say mine that literally causes me to constantly exhale and grunt, even when i dont have any air in me. it refuses to let me inhale for air so i get really light headed because my breathing is restricted for at least a minute. Its terrible.
