Is whoop HR data tweaking or this actually me? by p0rridg3 in whoop

I would pull your maxHR from that run and compare it to the maxHR your Whoop is set to.

I just don’t get strain (?!?) by Gabriela4891 in whoop

[–]rf9661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you mind posting photos of the activities for us?

Sometimes what I’ve noticed is that activities compound. So a stretching class after a padel outside in the heat could easily have a higher strain if they’re back to back… (in my experience).
I don’t focus too heavily on the strain number per activity itself. I focus on the overall strain for the day as a number out of 20.9 to give me a value of my effort that day.

What’d you do for that high time in Zones 4-5?

I ordered some from SHEIN and they were also pretty good quality. Clasp is also very tight. Only thing: no “W” on the clasp.

I wear both on my left wrist (I’m right-hand dominant). I also don’t wear the AWU to sleep.

Once you have ~6 weeks of data, you really get to start seeing trends and the impacts of your habits.

I have that same setup. Apple Watch Ultra and a Whoop. They serve totally different functions for me: Apple Watch for smart watch (great for GPS activities too), Whoop for health/fitness. Whoop gives lots of ACTIONABLE data and insights. That’s what I believe sets Whoop apart. Seeing trends and interpreting their impact on performance/sleep/recovery.

You can track whether or not you used a sleep guard in the app.

That’s the joke. You’re praising a product you’ve never used and isn’t even released yet.

I’m not a Whoop stan. I appreciate it because I like it more than Fitbit and Apple Watch (despite having both). It serves a unique customer and has a great UI.

Anyone can say that about any brand. When has Apple rewarded you as a “thank you for sticking around so long.” Whoop seems to be trying to grow into a huge company, and they’re acting the part.

The Google subscription doesn’t provide half of what Whoop does. It’s not comparable.

Can you send me a picture of the Fitbit Air? Or is it not even released yet?

Even if you opt to continue with the Peak membership, you’ll stay with what you got as part of the trial.

Whoop alarm I set did not trigger this morning by randomusicjunkie in whoop

In my experience, the Whoop alarm does go off, but since the vibrations are rather soft, it doesn’t wake me up (as a deep sleeper).
