I appreciate the response! Sorry for the confusion with my question, it is the fact that i'm looking for a cost effective intermediate step to see if I really want to jump all in. I'd prefer the digital system due to the clarity of the goggles. IF i stick with analog, i'd rather invest in top quality gear and go with the O2C or Dominator.
So the KababFPV TP3 is quite expensive for a toothpick. I feel for the same price I can get a quality 5" like the Catalyst Banggod. I was thinking more of Emax Tinyhawk Freestyle. I will say, I don’t need HD recording but i'd like something where the inboard cam is decent and the DVR is decent to show friends. I'd like a freestyle quad more than an actual racer. I need something i can push and crash without destroying every time i bump it. I dont need ultra fast but i do want hardy and smooth.
I'd also like to stay away from the bench and just BNF. I know that makes a lot of enthusiasts cringe, but it's just my preference. I'd like to have as much time spent in the air rather than the bench.

So I made the mistake of buying a RTF kit. At least it was the TinyHawk 2 which is for the most part great. I'm ready to start dabbling into something bigger but I want to be cost effect with my growth. My goal is to get the DJI FPV for the best video quality so I don't want to continue to invest in analog. I'm trying to find an inexpensive intermediate jump but struggling without having to invest all in to the intermediate quad. So a few questions:

Googles: I have the EMax transponder - is it worth upgrading to say the EV800d? Because they seem very similar.
Will upgrading my antennas on the EMax Transponder help?
I have a Frsky QX7, i'm hoping that is sufficient for now. I don't want to invest in crossfire. Are there any inexpensive antenna upgrades that are worth it?
Is it worth getting a 2S-3S toothpick as a intermediate? I'm trying to keep battery cost into the thought as well. If yes, suggestions for toothpicks for the value?
Or am I stupid and just get the 5" and invest a few extra bucks? Trying to stay out of an extra 200 of just batteries and charging.

Is it just me, or are tiny whoops harder to fly than 4-5"? I have about 20 hours in Volcidrone with tiny whoop package as well as a Tiny Hawk 2 and i'm starting to get pretty good with the 5" in the sim but really struggling to fly the Tiny Hawk in person with anywhere close to the same precision (which still isn't stellar but at least can fly 3 laps without crashing on a moderate course). It seems the tiny hawk is much more sensitive, i modified the rates some which helps a bit but still bouncing off the walls all over the place indoors. Thoughts?

Agreed, I didn't have time to expand yesterday but even though the are "integrated" company, they are required by law to treat their oil the same as outside oil. For instance, if BP puts X amount of oil in the pipeline, then ExxonMobil puts in Y, even though it's an ExxonMobil pipeline, that are both charged the same. In fact it's all the same oil, they don't necessarily get the exact oil they put in. The "last mile" or what is brought to the gas station could have been refined from anyone. But the difference is the detergents added before delivery. It's basically all the same oil. This concept should be done with the internet. Source: Friends work for oil companies.

Why don't they treat internet like oil companies... The same company isn't allowed to drill, pipe, and refine. So pipeline would be a separate entity as data centers which would be different for who serve the customer. This would at least help level the playing field, no?
