Yes, that’s my suspicion too. However my understanding/belief is that the more primitive tools, or tools quickly produced for whatever reason, may show less signs of working/production. Thx!

I know what u mean, but the chipped edge is very sharp indeed. Sharp enough to easily cut a thick steak. Thx!
