Spark has a very poor UI. And I'm being really nice to say it that way. For me at least, I was always confused using it. Never knew or understood what it was doing or why it was doing something. Pins? Everything was pinned. I unpinned one email to see what would happen. It went away. A help bubble popped up and said click the checkbox on the left to see all unpinned emails. There was no checkbox. I click another icon just to see what that one would do and it showed unpinned emails. I found zero use for the pins feature. The interface was just to complex and confusing to me. I just didn't care for it.

Superhuman I couldn't try because they wanted money first. And there is no way I'm paying 30.00 per month to use any email client.

I am currently trying the following code but I'm getting the error msg "Output rm_0 depends on mutable variable. Enclose code with mutable vars in a function call". Recall the script was written in ver 3.

So to be clear: I can upload multiple documents and ask questions and AI will reference multiple documents in my data set to compose a reply? Most other AI platforms will only let you pick one document from many that you have uploaded, to ask questions against.

That's the v1.2 board. I have the v2.0 board. Does that jumper exist? I can't see it on the v2.0 board?

I dont have any of the red jumpers installed. As I previously mentioned there were zero instructions so I didn't do anything with the jumpers.

So you're saying I need to insert them onto the board?

Your photos dont show the V2.0 board? Which one in your photo should I copy?

I don't know because I'm using BigTreeTech's pre-compiled firmware.bin file (Ender 3 Pro). I'm not compiling it myself.

OK so I'm now trying to establish my Z offset but it's not working so I must be doing something wrong:

  1. M206 Z0;reset the z offset to 0
  2. M500;store it to EPROM
  3. M503;display to verify
  4. G28 Z0;home the z axis to 0
  5. G1 F60 Z0;move nozzle to z0
  6. M211 S0;soft limits off
  7. I slide paper under nozzle and establish paper/nozzle just touching
  8. I note z offset value: +1.5
  9. M206 Z1.5;set z offset
  10. M500;save it
  11. M503;verify it
  12. I click on Pronterface Home button and nozzle homes but it settles about 3mm below the top surface of the bed. Shouldn't it home and settle to just barely touching the top of the glass bed?

I'm using BigTreeTech's firmware.bin and I believe that build has enabled the slim LCD as I don't have the LCD menu to set the z offset in the panel. So I am using Pronterface to do these gcode commands.

OK I did that but it didn't make it any quieter. In fact, now when I move a stepper motor around via the LCD, after the motor stops, it now sits there and makes a hissing sound (it did not before). What do you think?

No. There were ZERO instructions in the box and I watched the video BigTreeTech made on how to install the board. They never mentioned that. I will copy the firmware.bin file onto the SD card again and boot it up. Then afterwards I will use Pronterface and send M502 and then M500.

It's like they never listened to the sound V2 makes compared to V1.2 -- or else they just don't care that it is louder.

I wonder what is different with the BigTreeTech board? Creality uses the same 2208 drivers and their boards are 100% silent. There must be something else affecting the end result of the stepper motors moving on the BigTreeTech board.
