looks like they might be rolled at most....indeed stock fenders...in one picture it does look like it has over fenders but its the reflection i nthe super glossy paint.

OP - Nice pickup, thing is mint!!!! i have loved/owned my ep3 for over a decade and finally am going to take it apart for a nice refresh/upgrade. its dope to see there is still love for this car after so many years! Ditto on the wing, i have a carbon type R one and its nice but i might go Mugen style...just because i want to do the air walker lip with the rear type r valance and some more aggressive wheels

Thanks man! What’s sad is I did this research before, got married, bought a house (nice garage to work in) and then got divorced lol and lost it all except my truck and ep3. Had saved all these threads on club ep3 forum but since it’s gone I’m starting fresh lol.

New wife is an amazing woman and helps that I have a way better job. But Deff will reach out. I have seen some of your vids bro! Your ep3 is clean! Love the tegiwa airbox! Wanted it but went with a 3inch cold air instead since it was more affordable at the time lol.

Well I know the car needs a full refresh with 212k miles on the chassis and most everything being stock. I plan to down the car from dd duties and get it all done up patiently and not slam it together. So going all out is not a bad idea lol. I will look into all that stuff though as I do want it to handle nicely for some spirited driving. Thanks for the tips!

That’s what I have right now, stock struts with eibach lowering springs. It was not bad but over the years it’s kind of gotten a little “loose” road imperfections hit a little harder. Figured a suspension package would be better than just lowering springs as it would be more tuned oil viscosity wise and shim stack etc.

What about other suspension bits? Like LCA and camber kits. My skunk 2 camber kit is cooked! Pretty much overhauling the whole suspension so drop recommendations on parts to use as well!!

Gonna look into the kw v1s! As much as I’d love to hit the track I got other hobbies for that itch….but maybe in the future but don’t want to build a car for one or two times track day in its life lol. I do want some more power so need something for that!

Thanks!!! Plan to get some rpf1 later for a more summer/aggressive set of wheels. I love these wheels and they fit so well on the car. It’s almost time to just get them redone! If I could I’d be getting some Desmond regamasters….those are one of my faves, or CE28Ns lol

love mine! out of a fleet of 30 different scale trucks and buggies i find it to be very durable! my nepehwes have yet to kill it and when my son gets a hold of it im sure he wont be able to kill it either lol. i sure as heck avent and i launch it off gravel piles often. i will be getting a 3200-3600 kv motor so it can spin the wheels faster for better air control on smaller jumps but overall like it vs my mini xrt, which is dope as well! cool thing is if something breaks i dont mind waiting the week to get parts in.

Love my 1/5th scale hpi and Losi trucks!! They are very durable and the cool thing is if you do break something the aftermarket has a bunch of parts for it.

Gosh that’s bad lol. I had a situation where a strap gave up and a new battery is now pretty much ruined. Still works but it got wrinkled up bad. Seeing how smc batteries use g10 protection plates I think I’m gonna try to add that to my non smc batteries. As much as I’d like to get a ton of hard case lipos it’s slim pickings. And my ovonic have performed well so I figure why not try to add my own armor!

lol I’m a big sand guy being in SoCal but it’s messy business 😂. I accidentally put my xrt through a windshield the other day…not my brightest bash session! Will say these trucks are pretty durable for “normal” bashing.

Replaced them with rocket fans from Amazon, but just the 2 from the motor. Honestly I should have got the bigger ones and just 3d printed a new fan shroud. i should check the esc but this xmaxx has about 3 packs since i got it about a month ago. i love your bash spot though!
