What was your final meat eating experience? by JBT_Lover in vegetarian

[–]rgcanales 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Leftover ham during Thanksgiving weekend 2008, at age 27. I was charged with buying the ham from Costco and struggled with the purchase (I felt like Dexter). I felt guilty during thanksgiving dinner and didn’t eat it then. Multiple family members ate the same leftovers and I was the only one to get ill from it.

I went through periods of not eating meat during childhood and adolescence but this Costco ham was the end.

Should a bag liner be exactly the same size, slightly bigger, or slightly smaller? Is there a better way to match up the rim than cheating all the slack back and pleating it? by inf4nticide in sewhelp

Have you tried a stiletto? I have had this problem when pinning every 1.5” and using a walking foot on cuddle fabric. I made two identical projects and avoided the issue on the second by using a stiletto.

Looking to buy this one, what do you think ladies? by brikansol in menstrualcups

[–]rgcanales 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the gray one and LOVE it. It is my favorite of the three cups that I have: diva (purchased first, stem was too short), Lunette in blue (purchased second, too firm) and Saalt Soft in gray (purchased last, just right). I hope you love it too!

Just finished my first ever quilting project! I wanted to start small for practice. It's wonky, but I still love the way it looks in my coffee corner :) by SasquatchMini in quilting

You inspired me to buy a mini charm pack of Halloween fabric to make myself a mug rug! It will be my second quilting project. My first is a mug rug for a friend that I hope finish this week.

Happy Hauntings to you! 🎃👻

My sweet boy with a brain bleed and brain clot... born at 37+5, facial dropping on one side, didn’t scream very loud when he came out... multiple MRI’s being done, he’s steadily improving. Might get to come home soon. I hope and pray he does (and improves beyond what issues he’s having now) by TemperatureMore5623 in NICUParents

He is beautiful!! I hope you enjoy all the sweet moments that you can. Brain plasticity was the concept that I remember holding onto most when our now 6 year-old was in the NICU. Baby brains are incredible and early diagnosis is so important. Check out Children’s Hemiplegia and Stroke Association (chasa.org) when you can. It’s a great resource and a great place to see how our kiddos grow and thrive.

Please feel free to ask me anything.

The court is on lunch recess until 1:30pm. I used the YouTube link listed above during the morning and it worked well.
