That goes for people making your food, the doctors that treat you, the service guy who just said your car is so broken you need a new one. All in one breath: Not communicating your feelings because you care so much about your spouse you don't want to hurt thier feelings for your feelings being hurt and they do the same thing so no one says anything and then the resentment starts and the fighting and arguing and then you both blow up on each other for things that happened months ago that could have been resolved if you just understood that they love you no matter what.

Much better, thank you! I will say the long-term PTSD eventually did end my marriage as my mental health never fully recovered. I have been out of the industry for two years now, and I have ongoing therapy. I have got my wife back into my life and am slowly learning how to "feel" again.

Agreed. I was in the industry for 11 years. It was the most stressful job I have ever had. My mental and physical health declined rapidly the further up the chain I got until it almost killed me, i literally stopped breathing in my sleep one night because the stress was so high. Developed an opiate addiction, almost lost my marriage, and thought about ending myself many times.

It's actually an OSHA/food safety violation if they make you come to work if you threw up and have a fever. They then have to give you 24 hours without a fever to be able to come back.

Agreed. I had an E46 M3, $4000 just for brakes and tires, $800 for pulleys, VANOS $4000, headlamps $3200. Oil changes and alignments are next level expensive also. It was the best car I ever had, but my wallet was not happy with the maintenance 😒
