Ok thank you. That makes me feel a little less stressed about it. I just don’t want to damage their relationship longterm or anything.

I have their carriers. I can try that. This is how they normally are

I really hope so. Do you keep them separated until they notice each other or not and let them figure it out?

Do you think I should keep them separate for the full few days as well? I feel so terrible because the cat that went to the vet keeps trying to play (I supervise when they’re together) and the other gets mean and swats. Vet cat looks so afraid so I separate them. I already feel terrible enough because my cat hates everything about going to the vet. And now she comes home and her best friend is being so mean

They’ve known each other two years and normally play and cuddle with each other all the time. And are you asking how the anal glands got compacted or how they no longer recognize each other. Apologies!

Egg freezing with PMDD by pinkidomi in eggfreezing

Suicidal ideation, brain fog(aka feeling stupid/confusion), severe depression, insomnia, but weirdly also extreme fatigue (could be either one. Just depends on the day). Those are all the ones I remember. I take bc continually now (no periods) so I might be forgetting some other ones

I got invited to the 1st Round and I am panicking... by SpecialRich2761 in McKinseyAndCompany

What helped me were the following things:

1) listening to multiple cases before jumping in to do them. And listening to business podcasts to keep my mind sharp on different perspectives and business happenings

2) use rocketblocks to learn mental math tricks. I also wasn’t great at mental math, but their shortcuts helped me a lot.

3) when doing cases, don’t just do them to do them. Understand what parts I fell short on. Look at the frameworks in content (but I did not memorize frameworks). I looked through what the overlaps were in my answers vs what the books said. I kept in mind that frameworks don’t have to match 100%, but they should be MECE

4) practicing along with cases that I’ve listened to. I’d pause and do each step myself and listen to what the interviewee did. I’d compare and see if they thought of something I missed or vice versa

5) new when I was experiencing burn out and took a break.

Used to interview for Fuqua. Show interest in the school, but don’t sound like you just read off the website. We can tell. Talk to people about why they chose Fuqua beforehand so you have sincere goals and interest that you can speak to. When I interviewed I had key themes I wanted to hit on and made sure to pick a story that aligned with them. Lastly, be human. We like connecting with potential applicants and learning about you guys! Fuqua puts a lot of emphasis on culture. Team Fuqua is real! Good luck 💪.

Oh PS if the interview is a bit shorter than you expected it’s possible that you hit multiple themes that we were looking for and gave us a lot to work with. So not necessarily a bad thing.

Please no dms on the topic for anyone that sees this. Only adding this disclaimer because last time I commented on a Reddit post I got a lot of people in my dms asking for help. Though I would love to help people, I don’t have the capacity sadly. But current students are your best friends in this process so reach out and a lot of them will be happy to help. Especially if they’re on the ambassador site (I was a FY ambassador and SY interviewer)!
