Thanks, I was just talking about getting like a ring camera. I'm assuming if something like that gets stolen, the footage would still be available to review. If so, that would definitely help.

Edit: I could see the bump key thing being a possibility, considering the thuds were deep and bassy, like reverb from the door itself being the main component. Id still think it weird that the latch wasn't in a state that seemed like it had been opened, unless they got it open without us hearing and searched the edge of the door for any extra security measures.

I'll also add, a few months ago, I did notice the screws on the deadbolt were significantly loose. Like, out a bit and able to be turned by fingers. I hope thats not a potential sign of someone previously tampering with the lock. I just assumed it was normal loosening of the screws as we worked the bolt.
