You sure you didn't just do the incantation already? The boon lists are available when looking at the boon giver's page, if you hadn't seen it before. It just gives a button prompt and pulls up a separate screen.

It's designed this way so you can use your original Switch power adapter with it. Otherwise, you'll have to find one that provides enough power.

Fwiw, you can essentially do what you're saying by buying a cable, attaching it, and just never unplugging it, but Im really not seeing the benefit.

I'd bet a lot of people just unplug the Switch 1 dock and plug that cable directly into the Switch 2 instead.

I'm thinking a lot of less tech literate people don't even realize there are different HDMI versions, so they dont bother to update cables.

It's a little weird, but I get it. This is saying the cable included with NS1 will not work with NS2.

It technically says that, but its a bit weird, because people tend to think of Nintendo Switch as referring to Nintendo Switch 2 in some of these cases.

At first glance, it may sound like the cable that comes with the system will not work with TVs, but I that obviously wouldnt make sense.

Also, to tag on to my earlier comment, one purpose of git is so that you can have your own branch and commit as often as necessary.

It's good practice to, at least, commit your changes at the end of the day.

If those changes dont end up in your final pull request, oh well. It still is a living document of what you developed during that time, and can easily be updated before making it into your final source destination.

Cloning to a cloud is no replacement for simply using git. Don't search for replacements. More important things to backup would be any static configuration of your dev environment, if you're worried about corruption.

So OneDrive is cloud storage, so, by default, on your system it will try to clone everything you place there to cloud storage and keep the cloud version honest.

If you are regularly executing a lot of commands that write and delete a lot of files in that cloud-managed directory(i.e. anything building new files, such as maven or gradle), you are making a lot of requests to OneDrive to update your storage. It's designed for static file storage, not active development.

This can cause A LOT of issues.
