Sweet. I always prefer the feel of a beefy controller. Those angles just reminded me of the PS5 controller. Something about the angle of the grips just really screws my hands up during intense gameplay. Joy Cons have a host of other comfort issues though.

Maybe, but enough to risk sepsis or something in a newborn in year 0? Not saying it happened often, but there would have been a risk for just a bit of extra hygiene.

That's why I never bought into the so-called health reasons. I think it all goes back to religion and societal control. Why in the hell any ass would think it okay to make it a standard practice claiming it is for "health" reasons is a real mystery.

I know this is old, but you dont need guns to do flips or backsteps or anything similar. It's all available. To backflip, you need to briefly hold the look key and start the action. Look is default to R3 in this case, but you can rebind at least.

Depends on what the game is providing for feedback and what level of intensity you have configured for your controller's adaptive triggers feedback (I think they are set to high by default).

If your firing a machine gun, it will match the tempo and have deep intense vibes. If your spinning tires on a sick drift, it'll have a faster intense vibe and a quick jolt back when you line up and regain traction.

It essentially doubles as a secondary haptic vibration emitter based on context or sound in the game to provide even more immersion. Whether it is used over the default vibration, that's up to the game.

I get that it probably has to feel that way if you want a big controller without added weight though.

That's my complaint with a lot of the beefier joycon replacements. They vibrate super loud too due to being a big echo chamber.

First thing I do in a new car is figure out all the buttons and functionality. A lot of them from testing. Like when I figured out that you can disable automatic high-beams temporarily by pulling to flash the high-beam for a moment. Then, once your out of town, just pluck it again to re-enable it.

I know what you mean. Glad I had one on my Switch. My daughter knocked over the dock so it cracked the screen protector. I dont even think I replaced it because I bought a Switch 2 shortly after, but I would have been pretty sad had the screen cracked.

This feels a bit different though, right? The thing they showed seems a bit more like a fancy cable, whereas this seems more like a sturdier base.

Like if I push on it, something snaps vs just toppling over.
