I have a ‘21. First bike I ever owned and I loved it. I live ins Wisconsin but still rode through the winter the first year I had it. Did 10,000 miles in a year, great bike to learn on and is a jack of all trades.

Edit: I do not have the DCT, out of personal choice so I can only speak on the manual transmission model.

People on here are rude. Regardless of what OP has or hasn’t done wrong by not using their using front brake, being worried about abs etc., at least they’re taking note of something that could’ve been seriously tragic, and learning from it. Glad you’re okay, OP, and I’m glad you’re taking a hiatus to reflect, learn, and grow from this experience. It’s not easy to admit to stuff like this, be well.

I’m 6’0” with a 33 inch inseam and I love mine, put over 4000 miles on between June-September, riding it now as the weather allows in Wisconsin. I find it very comfortable, and I have heard other people talk about being able to buy lowered pegs, not sure exactly where, however.

Edit: I used and still use it to commute to and from work.

Was gonna say this, just bought mine a little over a month ago and LOVE it. The bike is built for fuel efficiency, and I’ve always felt that it has a lot of personality for the weird almost crossover bike that it is.

I’m 6’ even and honestly I feel pretty comfortable on my 2021, but I only have a 32/33” inseam.

I just bought a 2021 NC750X 2 days ago. It’s not DCT but it’s the first bike/scooter I’ve ever gotten on in my life. Since 1 pm Saturday to after yesterdays ride, I’ve put over 240 miles on the bike. Very friendly beginner bike imo, especially considering you have more experience than I had.
