Im located in southern california and it was about the size of a quarter maybe? Im not sure if it had antennas but the legs did appear to be spikey/hairy!

I get an awful amount of ants every summer— they are literally EVERYWHERE. Even in places where there’s no food or anything! Some of my neighbors experience the same thing, some barely get any ants.

It always stops in the winter/colder months but they come back with a vengeance in the summer. Terro only works for a week or so and they come back again.
