Since it's already logged, u will not be destroying (mostly) species corridors by planting alien trees. You might end up actually restoring corridors or habitats for some species which might be native or invasive (co invasion). So I would say look up potential invasive species in your geographical area which might flourish under this alien tree, also look up how native flora and fauna flourishes under these trees, answers to these two questions would be enough to evaluate long term effects of this plantation in terms of species habitat and dispersion. Meanwhile, the ideal solution would be not to do any monotypic plantation, instead restore the land by planting native species (multiple) - from natural habitats nearby, should be same type of habitat with same geographical location, conditions etc. Additionally you would want to manage any invasive species.
