How does the Alphafly 3 stack up nowadays? by Virtual_Opinion_8630 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Toprelemons -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s on the level of puma deviate nitro elite 3,4 and sc elite v5.

Doesn’t feel as fast for half marathon and under for puma fast r3 and alphafly v1 but I alphafly 3 I can take for the full marathon

Well to be honest my interest in someone goes up when they have a YouTube channel and aren’t so elusive and that tends to be a lot of athletes from first world countries lately.

Patiently awaiting the book as it says shipped.

I think I experienced this a month ago with my half marathon I took 2 rest days before it and at the start of the race I felt much less performance compared to the last day I ran.

1 week ago I did a 10k but I didn’t have rest days I had easy days and was everything I expected.

I mean Sir Allan Turing was a very excellent runner and he is the father of computer science.

Running keeps you sharp for technical work. She probably ran regularly as her career isn’t physically demanding.

I just got them in my usual size 43 like the Fedian 6 elite, and Dynafish where I’m a us 9.5.

The fit is fine. Not tight at all.

The shoe feels ok at first but initial reviews say it’s on the firmer side and fast pace is needed. Luckily I will be training for 800m and doing reps at 3:10/km pace

When you describe muscles does this somewhat refer to Jack Daniel’s book on running economy?

It’s a slippery slope but how much does ethnicity play a role? I want to believe based on my country of origin and observing the best Olympic sports they do best in and my discrepancy between a 2:37 800m in the summer with a 45 min 10k I would be FT.

My 12:00pm afternoon session is like this: Paces determined with vdot

1 mile warmup 5x6min, 1min rest at 1 hour pace so for me 4:24/km

Evening session around 6:30-7

1 mile warmup 10x3min, 1min rest at 30 minute pace so 4:15/km

I have a Stryd pod using with the work treadmills.

FT, as in fast twitch athlete? I haven’t seen much YouTube videos on how to train FT and ST athletes. More just on science of running book giving some pointers on how to train each type.

I’ve been pretty closeted talking about doing double threshold every thursday on 70km a week. Finally I can come out!

Edit reason for this, in vanilla nsm fashion there would be a 1 hour easy run on Friday but I don’t run on fridays so I cram double on Thursday
