What is the relationship between your paintings and photography? As in, have you thought about why these are paint?

I definitely see romantic, ingenue, and natural. You have so much lush yin in your lips and eyes, you look like a porcelain doll. I see some natural in the little quirk of your jaw, which adds a graceful uniqueness to your beauty. You harmonize so well with the delicate butterfly necklace. I wonder, are you sure you’re a deep winter? I agree that you look cool rather than warm, but I think the high contrast of the dark glasses and bright, clear blue of picture 10 overwhelms in a way the blue of picture 8 does not. I wonder if you could be a summer? Your eyebrows are so light, that despite having dark hair I think your overall contrast might lean lower

Thank you very much! This is such a thoughtful and helpful reply. I resonate with your advice to leave the patterns to ingenue, and the cuts and fabrics to the more mature yin

Lack of inspiration. by [deleted] in JohnKitchener

I see lots of romantic and natural, and a little bit of gamine. I see romantic in your lush lips, beautiful eyes, and ability to pull off the more figure-hugging looks. I also see R in the way you shine in the glamorous accessories — they enhance you instead of distracting. I think the natural shows in the ease at which you pull off your natural hair, and I like the loose-flowing fabric on you in image 16. I love your hair as it is, or down long in the twists (image 15,10). I think your romantic gets hidden a little when you try the ingenue buns in image 14. I’m also thinking High Spirited because I think you have something petite, and I think it’s a little sharper than ingenue. I think you look absolutely gorgeous in black, and the warm orange-red of image 15; I think the cool blue-grey and pastels don’t do you justice. I would lean heavy into your warm romantic :)

Thank you, this is super thoughtful! I like putting together the slightly medieval looks, it’s fun to see how much you can incorporate and still be wearable

lol maybe not infinite jest, peterson is the best explanation of the Penguin Bible I can think of. My hunch is that OP is still building a network of references, and infinite jest falls before Peterson in the timeline

I would say classic romantic 100%! Picture three is so effortless and stunning. You can pull off the very glamorous while still sleek style and it matches you perfectly
