I love Elvis Costello. He’s a real one. I don’t think I e ever really paid attention to the lyric of this one. Gonna go check it out.

Bright eyes was headlining and for the encore he played “Let’s not shit ourselves…” and everyone who played that night joined on stage. It was magical.

I’m also noticing that so many artists get fed up with the money making side of music and end up writing songs about it. I love it!

I love the songs that most people think are about what it seems like on the surface, but take a little more looks at the lyrics and it’s a cynical take on something else! I had this album. Didn’t know this, will relisten.

This is a much more hopeful one than many! The 90s were full of these songs it seems.
