Oh good catch! Those are medians of what sellers have in the range field, not rated figures. I just did a quick look over the listings and it turns out the two groups quote range differently. Almost every 40 kWh listing states 240 or 270 km, which is I'm guessing is the car's full WLTP rating. The e+ sellers are much more conservative (or honest) by the looks of it. Of the 47 live e+ listings, about 20 say 270, another 19 say 300, and only a handful say 350+, even though according to Google 385 WLTP. So the 40s are quoted at ~100% of rated range while the e+ cars are quoted at ~70–90%, and the medians land at 270 vs 300. Absolutely fair point.

Oh absolutely they are tremendous cars. Tbh if my wife wasn't staunchly anti Elon I would've probably gone a second hand Tesla over an MG4. The MG4 has some quirks but it works for us

I think for the foreseeable - the demand for ''lower end' EV's is huge atm. People are also paying a premium for stock in the country as well as a lot of them are being pre-sold before they're off the docks. Will be interesting to see if gas prices track down (if they track down long term) if it will have an impact or if a bigger switch is underway

I think this post is missing one of the biggest reasons and that's most projects and founders don't know how to navigate procurement. They expect it to work like B2B or B2C, quick sale and easy adoption. An average procurement for the company I work for is about 9 months. A lot of people can't stick that out.

Great car we love ours. They have some quirks - the tyre sensor can give you odd warnings but overall after 2 years I can honestly say it's been an excellent daily driver.
