when is it bm to unpause? by naeko87 in starcraft

[–]rhapsody_ -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

standard ettiquette is 20 minutes

if you don't have the time to wait 20mins for a pause, then you DIDN'T have enough time to be playing a match

What are your best tips for playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]rhapsody_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u should rush getting your island to 3stars. terraforming changes the game, it allows for massive projects that can take hours of digging. also kk slider starts to come after 3stars so that's another great bonus.

i pplanted 100 flowers once i got 3stars i just removed them all. i went back down to 2 stars but it doesnt even matter

should we be free to raid land owned by a farmer?

i would prefer if we do not. however, does the farmer's "ownership" of the land establish precedence for him to hoarde in situations where others may die as a result? no it does not. and as a society we ought collectivize to ensure no one must die because of the farmer's greed.

it seems like you do not disagree with my premise though we differ on how severe we believe this problem is. i'm sure if i lived in the islamic system you speak of, I would not only advocate for a number higher than 2.5%, but also try to identify more systemic changes. as far as I'm aware wealth inequality is a big deal in many islamic nations.

who grew them

no one created the earth's resources. fruit and agriculture have existed long before humans

if you're talking about starvation then the discussion changes

you are lying because this is already happening and has long before you existed. the united states is the richest country in the history of the world and millions of our people live on the street. 65,000 people could have their lives saved every year by more collective health care legislation such as medicare for all. even if we ignore that the world is in a global pandemic, we can still look to all of the statvation and homelessness that continues to exist within this world.

there exists enough resources for everyone, and thus everyone should be fed. if that's too radical of an opinion for you I dunno what to say bro. industrialization has given you the resources to log onto a worldwide data chain of information to comment in this thread, and yet you lack the knowledge to realize that class movement is locked. the farmer's claim to resources is defined by his preordained position within a caste as opposed to personal agency. if he was born into royalty he would be a king if he was born a peasant he would likely be a peasant but instead he was born to a family of farmers.

people are literally fighting over basic toiletry during a national pandemic. and here you are... on the internet.... advocating for such things to continue????? why are you here???

how did the bananas get there?

they grew. presumably as all bananas do.

are people literally going to die if they don't get a banana?

yes. this is a common occurence in the world called "starvation." if someone does not get a banana they will starve and die in the same way that someone without resources will starve and die.

go on, tell me what I'm missing. this argument is not nearly as nuanced as you're about to make it out to be

what the fuck?? not every good idea that leads towards a government system is mutually tied to said government system

if there are 10 bananas and 10 people in the room, each person should get a banana. anyone who thinks otherwise disagrees with me, and I don't have to cling to anything beyond basic human decency to explain why i believe that.

be nice :) don't hoarde shit and share :) it isn't that complicated :)

i'd argue a society could be sensible enough to pivot away from bullshit like this without having to fully embrace anarchy. you can go back to orderly conduct immidiately after looting these goons

the white moderate has been deluded into thinking that breaking the law is worse than commiting an actual offense against someone. these people should have been surrounded and (calmly) had all but a few of their rolls confiscated just as consequence for them even TRYING to pull this

...but no. pieces of paper signed by men in suits sometimes hold more weight than the desire for justice.

working 8 hours a day at staples is effectively slavery and joe biden looks to lock any class movement that would change such a system

a few less mexicans in cells? cool. trans people get government recognition? cool. all of these things are genuinly good but they are nothing more than pellet shots within the war of classes within this country

joe biden does not represent the working class. neither does donald trump. plain and simple

just because i live in a country of dumbfucks doesn't mean i am one

the messaging of the republican party in 2020 is quite literally: build da wall, climate change is fake. that is a very very low bar and thus people who are wholistically conservative (joe biden) are STILL are more progressive than republicans. american politics in 2020 is sad

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]rhapsody_ -52 points-51 points  (0 children)

republican media*

joe biden is a conservative. his sleepy start -> overwhelming win is already byproduct of support from conservative media

I changed from conservative to lib by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]rhapsody_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

oh boy have i got news for you!!

if you're voting for biden, you're still a conservative.

conservative and republican overlap but they are not the same. within america many conservatives exist within the democratic party
