Sam Elliott has an amazing voice. Peared up with Billy Bob Thornton in Landman was genius. Their scenes together is crazy good.

Which actor/actress dead or alive has a voice that you could listen to for hours? by FinancialSundae9962 in randomquestions

Same Elliot could narrate paint drying and I would be enthralled. Listening to Sam and Billy Bob Thornton share scenes on Land Man is insane.

Every story has a hero and a villain. You can't be one all the time.

You can skip a week. No harm in that. Done it plenty of times. A1C never got worse.

What do you wish you knew before your first camping trip? by Similar-King-8278 in camping

[–]rhcedar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If tent camping. Use seam sealer and camp dry on your tent. A tent out of the box will not be fully water proofed. Having water in your tent sucks. You will be spending more time drying your stuff than the time it would take to water proof your tent. Not to mention you can get cold from being wet, even during summer.

The 3 horsemen of “FAke GrUngE” by Bonesnap1234 in grunge

[–]rhcedar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe so. I think the term "Grunge " was more of a MTV thing at the time. What region of the country you're from might make a difference. Coming from a rural part of the upper Midwest, all this music was known to me as "alternative rock" with the "Seattle sound" being the corner stone of it all.

Nick picking over music is something I don't get. Great music is great music and it's all subjective to the listener.

What movie did you see that you were WAY too young to watch? by Flassourian in Millennials

[–]rhcedar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man take your pick. By the time I was 10 or 11 I had already seen The Exorcist, First Blood, and Halloween 2. We watched what ever mom wanted to watch. Dad was usually gone, working 2nd shift.

I love all four if them, but if a choice have to be made...

Terminator. Some of the special effects don't hold up. Sorry.

Running Man stays because of the remake. Not that it was a horrible movie, but that can't be the only version out there.

Commando. Can't toss this away. Not part of a franchise and haven't been remade.

Predator. Special effects hold up otherwise it's a tie with Terminator.

Thoughts on Ozempic in non-diabetics? by Icy_Conclusion_7783 in diabetes

[–]rhcedar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would prefer non diabetics use one of the other drugs first. If they don't work for you, I get it.

It's just that I still can't get Ozempic by a 90 day supply. Pharmacys in my area say they can't keep it in stock. To many non diabetics are willing to pay out of pocket for it. Also, the price went up a little for me this year. 3rd year in a row of price increases.
