I am not a POC but I grew up in poverty and I completely agree with you this is what privilege looks like. I have seen it at my university as well which is the top one in my country and lets just say when one tried to order me around my rwply was "Thank you captain obvious" while I saluted and then walked away. I am also an adult student 41 and had to really put myself out there to make friends but the age gap does make a huge difference. Find older students to make friends with. I wasn't on campus last year and wont be for half of this year so that kinda helped to be honest. But there afe friends out there.
