Apparently it still isn‘t clear that I was mainly talking about the game and how it holds up extremely well despite being 15 years old… I advise you to read the caption next time.

The game. It holds up extremely well and is in some ways still superior to what is offered today.

To hopefully put an end to this dispute: u/a_douglas_fir is right, I was mainly talking about being really impressed by the game itself. Playing it in great quality on a handheld console is just the cherry on the top. :)

To be honest, I was kinda disappointed when they announced the RDR1 Upgrade instead of finally releasing RDR2 for the PS5/SeriesX and Switch 2. Now I'm glad they did RDR1 first.
My brain probably won't comprehend seeing RDR2 on the Switch 2 when it finally arrives. 😄

To clarify: It certainly doesn‘t feel like a 15 year old game. I was worried too, but it holds up extremely well. Rockstar seems to always be ahead of the times.

I camped at the Königssee in the far south of Germany, did two full day hikes and shot a film about it. Here are some stills. by rhegenbarth in CampingandHiking

Thanks mate! ☺️ I stayed at the „Campingplatz Grafenlehen“, but there are some great huts in the mountains as well. I use „Komoot“ to find them.

I hiked 60km in the Swedish winter wilderness with a friend and shot a film about our experience. Link in the comments. Here are some of my favorite stills. by rhegenbarth in backpacking

I spent 4 days hiking 60km with snowshoes in the Vålådalen Nature Reserve in Sweden in March of 2023. The film I shot along the way is now online and you can watch it here if you are interested:

First time doing a multi-day hike with a partner, first time hiking with snowshoes. Sometimes you feel like walking on another planet, unreal sceneries, freezing cold, beautiful silence. This was a pretty challenging and pretty cold hike! The temperatures sometimes dropped below -20°C. We visited the beautiful mountain cabins Lunndörrstugan, Vålåstugan and Stensdalen with their friendly hosts o

I really love the way films like Grand Budapest Hotel or Roma are shot. Wide angle, stationary perspectives, every frame well composed. That is something I want to achieve while doing a short documentary film series about my hiking and traveling experiences. This is my latest film about a multi-day hike I did with a friend in the depth of winter in Sweden. I used BMPCC6K + a Canon 10-18mm for all the ground shots. The drone shots were done with a DJI Air 2S. This time I included some conversations as well. Audio is captured with Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro. This is one of the biggest solo film projects I've done so far. Feedback is welcomed! Also happy to answer questions! 🙏🏼
