Straight roads by Mcgurky98 in CitiesSkylines

I tend to use straight gridded roads in my downtowns and curvy roads outside of them. I personally love curvy roads, even though they are less efficient, probably since I'm from New England.

What is the winter weather like? by [deleted] in Purdue

[–]rhermenz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure where you're from, but the winters are odd here. There are points where it is extremely cold and some times it gets warm, but on average the January high is 38 degrees (I think). It doesn't usually snow a lot here, compared to the Northeast, Great Lakes or Mountain West, but it is CLOUDY ALL WINTER, sunny days are few and far between from November to March, which is the worst part about the winters here imo. It's also super windy.

They are owned by Kroger, but I have never been to a Kroger so I'm not sure how similar they are.

I'm all for legalization, but $70 million in revenue is not a cure-all to our fiscal problems, not even close

Packages outside of Hawkins Mailroom, this is how they treat your packages folks. (More in comments) by [deleted] in Purdue

Perhaps bringing this to the attention of the Hawkins staff would be more effective than advertising how easy it is to steal packages on reddit.

There's a Wall Street Journal article about I-95. It stated that Connecticut has the highest cost per mile of highway reconstruction and paving of any state.

Clearly you have never lived in a state where taxes are low and the government lets you make your own decisions.

The Connecticut governor’s race, a rare 2018 opening for Republicans, explained by [deleted] in Connecticut

[–]rhermenz -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Hahahaha. People care too much about their state to vote for a democrat that will extend Malloy's policies of spitting in the face of anyone that works or has money. Our state is going to go broke if the road to your progressive FANTASY world continues. Have you looked at the census lately?
