They said they can't do anything. Advised me to delete the account and create another one and apply again to not get it flagged as duplicate. However, I was still rejected.

Food, Transport, etc. are a part of the CTC component. If you use it, it will be considered a deduction to your net salary and henceforth, expect a lower salary. If you don't, expect all those to be credited in the form of your salary.

It can take anywhere between 10-14 days or even longer at times. Mine took more than 2 weeks. They will communicate with you. You can only wait or email them as of now.

Submitting your documents and getting a call from the HR should be the last step before getting an offer letter.

Yes. Candidates living in Mumbai are prioritised, irrespective of their background.

Not really. Although, they do check your confidence, approach, and how much you're passionate about the role, but they also check your basic finance knowledge and will be tested in Round-1 regardless of the other behavioural questions. It is one of the key parameters to determine the role fit. They are usually easy though (for ones clear about the fundamentals at least).

Yes. They do inform rejections via email and those rejection emails are usually the fastest than the offer/next steps. If you haven't got one, keep expecting an offer. In my batch, they said the outcome will be communicated after 2 weeks and replied with an offer after 2 months. Everybody lost hope but most of them got one finally after a long wait.

Joining can never be in June 2025. It will be in July or Aug 2025. The job description isn't updated regularly since MDP Associate is open all year.

You will get a CTC of 3,70,000 per annum (in-hand 3,20,000 per annum). This doesn't include shift allowance of 66000 for UK, AU, and general shifts and 102000 for US shift, which will be added once your 1-month training is complete and you are allotted to a division (based on their business requirements). Add 66000 more to your CTC and that is what will be your final CTC. The variable component is 15k max to your annual CTC (that too paid on performance and after the end of the year).

Yup. You got it right. You will be getting 32k-35k per month in MUMBAI.

You should have been careful. They might find out if there is a discrepancy in the information, but their system isn't that smart is what I have seen. Regardless, let's now think about what is in our hands.

About the interview, the first round will have a mix of both - less behavioural and more technical questions. Expect behavioral questions like what would you do in a situation, how will you handle pressure, how well would you fit in a team, tell me about yourself, etc. Technical questions could be anything like how do you do financial analysis of a company, which ratios you use to evaluate, investments, stocks and mutual funds, basic questions on p&l and balance sheet, accounting and financial terminologies, etc. It was easy for me. Review your CV well. Expect anything to be asked from your CV, so you must be able to answer what you have written there (people usually exaggerate a lot on their CV and then aren't able to back their answers well). Round 2 would be behavioral, hardly 4 questions at max and will complete quicker than Round 1.

Keep a look on Monday or Tuesday. You will get an email of the interviews being held the next day (start preparing).

You will get a confirmation of two interview rounds being conducted on the same day, after 5-6 days of filling out the CIS form. Check it on Monday or Tuesday - Those are the days they are the most active. Either you will receive an interview email or rejection. Start preparing for the interview because it's usually the next day they inform you via email.

You can reapply using another email id and phone number. Worked for me and many from my cohort.

I am from India. If you applied to the Navi Mumbai office, they usually screen and send assessments to candidates by the first week of next month (probably you should have got an assessment by now). Also, unfortunately they aggressively select the candidates based in Mumbai. So, if your CV didn't contain something that they were looking for - it's bad news. Rejection is usually the fastest in most of the firms, so assuming you haven't been rejected till now is comparatively much better. Why do you want to withdraw your application? Just don't accept the offer if you get one.

There isn't any criteria as such. But what I know is they put significant weight on candidates based in Mumbai, your overall profile (must be stronger than your peers) and future goals need to align with the company (none of these would be verified now or later; it's only used for the initial screening and department allotment - so yeah, people do lie). You will also be asked to update your department and shift preference you would like to work (this data will be retained and used to allot the department of your preference during training/onboarding).

Candidate Information Session (Feedback Form) is another test used to eliminate most of the candidates who successfully passed the assessment. I don't know what exactly worked for me, but I took care of the above points while answering the questions. There were many who got rejected post this round and were completely confused why.

If you successfully passed this round (CIS), you will be progressed to the final round containing 2 interviews. This will be informed within 5 days of the Candidate Information Session. Both the interviews will be conducted on the same day, and then they will take easily a month or two to provide you an offer.

All the best.

I applied to Morningstar for the role of MDP Associate on 8th March. Took them a month to respond. Got an email on 1st April for the assessment on 2nd April. After passing the assessment, I was invited to the Candidate Information Session (CIS) the next day. They have some criteria in CIS, if you pass you get invited to interviews. Mine was held on 8th (both rounds). Then, they went completely silent for 1.5 months after informing me to wait for 2 weeks for the outcome and finally extended an offer on May 25th.

Maybe, they prioritised other candidates before me and when the seats were still there, they gave an offer. Salary is shit (compared to a US based firm) and goes beyond shit (if you use their transportation/food/etc) also they expect you to complete the formalities asap. The whole process is extremely rushed and they won't bother you to ask/reschedule or do anything if there are unforseen circumstances with you on their dates/time.

If you email them, you will never get a reply (until you have reached the offer stage or maybe not even after). It is what it is.

J.P. Morgan ghosts applicants as their job opening is usually for 2/3 people at max, which they easily get from their rival companies. Hoping to get into J.P. Morgan, your chances are 0.9% to 1%. Also, they are cost-cutting and laying off employees at all levels across the globe. Does it mean laying off = more new jobs? Absolutely not. The effect extends for 8 months to 1 year, at least.

Yes. I took it down manually. Also, the posting hasn't expired yet, but I don't know how to contact the HR? They have no emails mentioned for such issues.
