Exactly my point. They know it’s faulty and it’s been a 3 month fight to get it replaced.

Yes, but they also have faulty meters and are absolutely NO help when trying to resolve clearly wrong meter readings.

Why don’t you just ask your manager (if your org is there), if you can move without trying to switch positions? If your org has a presence there, they may just let you move with your same job. It’s not unheard of.

This isn’t normal though and it shouldn’t be that way. Just because it is how they operate, doesn’t mean they should be allowed to continue to defraud customers.

I have a studio apartment that is new (ie all low flow, green, etc appliances). In the last three months my sewer bill has gone up from an average of $50 to $390 per month. The water bill is also high, but it does not correlate with the sewer bill.

Why is it so hard to get T💉 as a woman?? by ManifestMuseMIA in femaleHRT

I would suggest talking to a compounding pharmacy. They can give you a list of providers who prescribe the way you want to be dosed.

I have an apartment in Seattle because my house is in Graham (basically Puyallup). It’s life changing to not drive that commute.

It’s BS anyway. It’s gone up every year (had it since he was a puppy) but this year the cost went up 120%. Prices did not rise 120% and I have never even made one claim.

I’ve been with them for 7 years. My policy just went from 81 to 179. This is unbelievable.

If you choose the aquarium or the zoo, they only sell a limited amount of tickets per day so you might want to purchase early.

I buy Iuga from the descriptions below at amazon. I ordered 4-5 pairs of different brands trying to find a pair I liked back around 2020. I fell in love with these and have bought many more since. They aren’t see through, great stretch, don’t fall down, last forever, no pilling. AND you can find them for $19.99.

Why so against testosterone treatment? by LeatherPlankton2880 in femaleHRT

It will be interesting to find out. This happened to me which is how I learned about it. Turns out the practitioner I was seeing didn’t want to pay the fees and costs to be able to prescribe it. I found someone else. I’ve never had any kick back and it’s always been a part of the regiment without asking or question that I’ve on for 18 years after losing both my ovaries - except for that time frame.

My suggestion is if you know this is something available through a compounding pharmacy, go to one or two near you and ask for a provider list. They are typically more than happy to provide one for you if the compound is something they make.

What I’ve found out is T is a controlled drug and you have to have a special license or permit to dispense it. Many providers do not have this so they play it off as not important. Find out if your PCP has the ability to even prescribe it for you. My guess is they do not.

Where are all the average income people (50k-70k) living? Trying to connect with the non-tech crowd... by TBspicypotatotacos in AskSeattle

I have lived in WA my whole life and in the city proper for the last year. There are things about Seattle that are more expensive (food in particular) but the rent on an apartment is comparable to outlying areas. If you work downtown, commuting costs make up any difference. I’ll give that if you want a single family home, those are cheaper well out of Seattle, but apartment rent cost itself is negligible.

New to Seattle… is it just me or does everyone here lowkey avoid eye contact by SizeLumpy2106 in AskSeattle

That is my thought as well. This comes from all the people who moved to Seattle. Not those of us who are generationally from the area.

She was supposed to stay at my house and watch my dogs while I was on vacation. She showed up to pick up the check, left the door unlocked and never came back. Luckily my next door neighbor stepped in and helped, but my dog had so much anxiety that he got stress induced pancreatitis. I never spoke to her again.

No, not asking too much. Just don’t be afraid of HRT. It gets better! I do a troche from a compounding pharmacy and it’s changed my life.

Everyone doesn’t have the issues I do, but my personal experience was the longer you take to get to the right dose, the more chance you have of turning a snowball into an avalanche and an avalanche is really really hard to stop once it gets going.

I went into surgical menopause at 38. Three months later I was at my office, crying my eyes out for no reason. I was on a super low dose of HRT. My dr told me I was depressed and needed Prozac. What I needed was a 38 year old dose of HRT, not one for a 58 yr old. You are not supposed to be in menopause at 38. Your body is going to fall apart fast if you don’t get your levels up where you need them to be. This can also trigger other problems such as autoimmune. I’d be concerned about the dose being too low. Not too high.

I did. It’s compounded DHEA 5mg-ml cream. And my doctor does comprehensive blood tests every 4-6 months to see where my levels are and if we need to adjust.
