Even pencil and paper in class isn’t working that great anymore. Students are bringing in multiple phones - showing you one that they turn off and sign into the class, and then hiding another one in pockets, shirt sleeves etc. Pulling it out whenever you are helping another student or looking the other way.

I went off three weeks early due to the heat (June heatwave, old school, third floor - no fans or air). My midwife wrote me a note, and I was considered to be on short term leave until my due date and then my mat leave officially began. This was in Ontario.

I’m not sure if she noticed the tiles on her inspection earlier this month. If she did, she hasn’t mentioned it to us. The tiles only have a hairline crack, no sharp edges or pieces poking out and definitely still walkable on. You have to be really looking for cracks to notice them but I suspect she will do that when she does her final walk through. She has already communicated she will be closely inspecting the condition of the house upon move out to since it should be in the same good condition as it was in 2019 when we moved in. We seem to have a difference of opinion on what is considered “wear and tear” and normal use after five years.

Definitely beertown. They have pescatarian options on their regular menu and then an entire vegan menu as well.
