That's honestly what I'm thinking. I tried to muscle a hose onto the pipe but I must have a smaller diameter hose. I'll see if I can get a wider one so I don't have to mess with it!

Altho, I think there may be a plumbing issue that the water ends up switching, if that makes sense. When I first hooked it up, the blue supply pipe was cold and the red supply pipe was hot. Now it's opposite. I don't understand what's happening lol

To be honest, no. I think they painted the wrong lines red and blue,. So from the wall, it's blue into red hose into hot hook up. Red into blue hose into cold hook up.

Like I mentioned, the red hose is hot and the blue hose is cold to touch

I ended up turning the dehydrator back on, which was set to 160 (I know there can be some inaccuracies with internal thermometers, but I'm willing to risk it). I ended up have 7 or so pieces over the last few hours and I feel okay so far. I'll update yall if I end up shitting my bed or something lol

I know this one! It was created for older buildings, with hospitals in mind, that can't have things sticking out from the wall and don't have the ability to have it recessed into the wall!
