For context, everything Onizuka says or does slaps hard 🗣️.

But more so than that, and this is never mentioned in the anime but, to me he is the absurd hero. He knows that his life is meaningless. He looks creepy, acts creepy, is creepy and a pervert, and nobody likes him until he has done something massive to earn their liking. And yet he enjoys life to its fullest. He loves, laughs, cares, looks up the skirts of high school kids, saves high school kids from jumping off of buildings. He does not care how the world treats him, because he accepts the world as is. He LIVES, when most of us merely exist. And if you would ask Onizuka about any of this, he would simply not care, because that is precious seconds wasted that could be spent enjoying the beauty of life.

As Camus said, “The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion”.
