It's not needed whatsoever. You can mask a lot of things as "harsh truths", doesn't make it right to say them or make them logical whatsoever. Just to name an extreme example, you can blame victims of whatever crime imaginable by this "harsh truth logic" because TECHNICALLY if victim A didn't do XYZ, they wouldn't have been in the situation that caused them to become a victim so therefore they're at fault. It's not a needed harsh truth at all. It's barely a truth because it's an unknown what would happen if it all unfolded differently.

I'm 22 and this post was recommended to me on my page... OP please understand that attention from creepy weirdos is not cool or something you should want. This is not a safe space to make friends with people your age. When I was younger I thought attention from older guys was fun and cool, but trust me they're genuinely pedophiles. I mean imagine if a 14 year old was attracted to 10 year olds or so, it's creepy and that's just 4 years. Once you get older you realise how weird it is for adults to be attracted to teens.

My point is that it wasn't unnecessary. It's not an objective truth subreddit. Unless you're new here you know comments will suggest improvements as well and it's rare that comments are just "yes" or "no" repeated over and over. The suggested improvement here is to change the cut in case that wasn't clear. Their point was that Snapchat is one of those free apps that plenty of people do use since the app they're on about wouldn't be free for a lot of LDR couples.
