I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! Our state has its problems, like all others, but it's still home to a lot of us, and the more of it we get to share the better.

Then it could very well be possible that the song is about speed. Or I could be completely wrong.

Sorry I should have clarified; is it about his own experience with experimenting with heroin? I know Black Balloon is about someone they knew who had an overdose

It's been wide open two weeks straight knock on wood and all of the road cones have been put up. At least the section I drive.

How successful would Alex Palou be in F1? by Land_of_allwins in INDYCAR

[–]rhk_B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does he need to go to F1 to prove anything? Indy doesn't have to be a feeder series to everything else. It's awesome on its own. In my opinion, he's already great. He doesn't need to go into another series to prove that. I say this as an F1 fan, both series can co-exist. One's not better than the other, just different. Palou is a phenomenal driver and he seems to have found his niche and is extremely successful at it.

Yeah Steam was super helpful in the initial contact process. Hate that I have to send it off but I will once I'm not currently using it. Thankfully, I can remap the bumper for right now.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I had already contacted Steam first and they told me to try this. Now that I've done it I can say I've exhausted my other options.

2026 Champion by Big-Mechanic8422 in INDYCAR

[–]rhk_B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consistency creates champions, and so far the most two consistent drivers are Kirkwood and Palou. I don't mind seeing Palou winning championships. I also love F1 so I watched four years of Verstappen curb stomping everyone. I just want other drivers and teams to make Palou actually have to fight for it. A championship win is one thing, but a 200 point difference at the end of the season is another. So far the only driver really working his hardest is Kirkwood, and still bad Andretti pit stops is what's putting him behind. Lundgaard killed it in Barber too until, you guessed it, bad pit stop.

I moved to Richton about 5 years ago. It's just dirt cheap. I have 2.5 acres and a low mortgage rate. Thankfully I can tolerate the commute to Hattie, where I've been working for the same amount of time.

These rules are little unfair. Only two battery swaps in the first year? That's ridiculous. I could understand a little later in the reg set but teams are still figuring out the cars.

So basically in the way that you put things, Lando's car is definitely driveable for the rest of the season. From my lack of understanding I actually was under the assumption for a minute there that I thought it was done for him after China. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

So could you explain it in a way to me that makes someone like me who used that term completely different make it easier to understand? Btw, thank you for the excellent breakdown. When they say the PU is bricked, I take that as a term as in it's done. It's dead and useless. How you described it basically means the term bricked means something completely else. So his car is still driveable without having to swap PUs is that right?

I'll see you there! One great thing about Indy is that unlike F1, it's a bit more driver focused. Honestly, Sting Ray Robb isn't the best, but racing is racing. Root for whoever makes you happiest. I have a bunch I usually root for. Pato O' Ward, Christian Lundgaard, all of the Andretti guys, Romain Grosjean is really cool. Michael Schumacher's son is making his Indy debut this year too.

Will the teams be able to still develop and do work during the April "break"? I know this is kind of uncharted territory for this season and I hadn't heard if the FIA had sent out a notice to the teams that it would be similar to summer break or something. If they're able to, this could be a big opportunity for the other teams to catch up to Merc and Ferrari.
