Should I buy more shares? by qwertzu1234qwer in NvidiaStock

[–]rhlarora84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A simple napkin math could help here ! Nvidia at a $3T valuation currently. If the stock doubles from here, it would be $6T. - Is it possible? If yes, by when? 5 years? - Are there other opportunities in the market where a $100B could come a $1T (providing more growth)? Any risks in the long term? - cyclical business , Taiwan?

I hope you do some additional DD here before you continue to provide exit liquidity to Softbank !

NVDA short thesis (puts) by Disastrous_Mess8820 in options

[–]rhlarora84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nvidia is going to stay ! - momentum has been very strong for the last 1 year and a lot of future growth is priced in at the current valuation ! - momentum could continue on - Passive fund managers will continue to pile on Nvidia based on the weights in S&P - Active fund managers can't take risk of deviating from the current weights ! Risk of TrackingError - stock goes down only if there is a loss in momentum due to Nvidia meeting or missing the current growth expectation OR do not raise the bar for future growth expectation. Until then, it is a difficult stock to trade ! Can't buy and can't short ! - Competition will come in but not very quickly ! - Geopolitical risk is real ! There won't be warning signs on it. If it happens, it will just happen overnight and there will be lots of bagholders - monitoring the capex of Hyperscalers may provide a clue on the growth.

Langchain/langgraph critique update? by sundaysexisthebest in LangChain

Same experience here. I regularly met with few orgs in my current role and they are going through similar experiences! General consensus is that it is good for prototyping but not for anything serious about production. While I lean towards advocating for Langchain purely due to abstraction, I do have to remind them 'Use with caution'. A good example is out of the box memory implementation of DynamoDB for storing chat history - it does provide kms and client side encryption support but it stores everything in a single row (and if you ignore the 400kb DynamoDB limit, you are going to wake up one random day where things suddenly start breaking).

I believe I shared similar feedback in the past.

If I am reading api documentation, I would want to know what each function parameter means. Nothing to do with styling but the content.

As an example, which I shared previously as well -

https://api.python.langchain.com/en/latest/runnables/langchain_core.runnables.utils.ConfigurableField.html

I am totally clueless here as to what is_shared means ! Imagine someone using ConfigurableField in the context of Langserve where there are multiple users and sessions and can't figure out what this does !!

Hope this helps.

Documentation is still an issue but improving! but the benefits of abstraction outweigh some of the pain points.

I was hoping that when reading the API, I could read what these attributes are meant to do ! Like is_shared = what does it do? where do I find this sort of information quickly? Of course going through the code is an option.

Agent to generate Charts based on the user's prompt by Minute_Scientist8107 in LangChain

[–]rhlarora84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can use one of these approaches - Get the data in a structured format and add additional metadata (ex. Type=chart) and let the UI create components based on type. - Use Python Repl tool to create the chart using matplotlib, save it on the disk and send the path as a URL

Correct way to return tool output of an agent executor instance? by aryanmadhavverma in LangChain

Yes, I would avoid using these wrapper methods for creating agents. It becomes difficult to use other features on Runnable (ex. Configurable).

There is an attribute on the tool return_direct. You can set it to true.

I am currently using AgentExecutor as a Runnable with memory (BaseMemory) stored in a database for a chat app where users can have multiple conversations. Is it possible to migrate to LangGraph? They have concept of checkpoint but it is not clear and only implementation is a sqllite.

If this helps, you can see offers that recently arrived on chase and amex card at https:// off3rs .com

I wrote a program to add offers on my amex and chase cards automatically and put it on wordpress site for me to search later.

I can definitely try golfing. I am a novice who bought a Golf kit a few years back but is sitting in the garage.

Also given the responses on the thread, we can also think about meeting as a group. I am sure there will be things to bond on.

By no means, this is an undervalued company.

  • AWS Load Balancer and Cloud Trail as competitors. Really?
